이윤미(맨 오른쪽), 황보(맨 왼쪽) 등 30여명의 한국컴패션 멤버들이 지난 7일 주님의 영광교회에서 열린 후원자의 밤 행사에서 열정적으로 공연하고 있다.


한국 컴패션이 연 첫 '미주 후원자의 밤'은 사랑의 열정과 감동이 어우러진 뜨거운 무대였다.

자원봉사 단체인 컴패션 밴드는 2년반 전 배우 차인표씨가 어린이들을 돕기 위해 6명의 지인들과 만든 작은 자원봉사 모임이었다.

지금은 멤버가 100여명에 이를 정도로 급성장(?)했다. 연예인이 반이 넘는 밴드는 연간 40차례의 무료 공연을 펼치며 전세계 어린이들을 돕는데 앞장서고 있다.

LA 공연에서는 서정인 대표와 차인표씨의 간증에 이어 가수 에스더와 황보의 라이브가 이어졌다.

1980년대 높은 인기를 누렸던 남성 댄스가수그룹 소방차의 김태형씨가 가수 신태윤씨와 함께 히트곡과 찬송가를 선사했다.

30여명으로 구성된 컴패션 밴드는 열정적인 무대로 한인들에게 짜릿한 감동을 주었다.

11명의 연예인들을 이끌고 LA를 찾은 리더 차인표씨는 홍보대사인 부인 신애라씨의 부탁으로 처음으로 컴패션 비전트립을 다녀온 경험으로 이야기를 시작했다.

차씨는 "처음엔 아내의 부탁 반 협박 반을 이기지 못하고 가게 됐다"며 "아무 준비없이 간 여행이 내 인생을 바꾸리라고는 상상도 못했다"고 고백했다.

"인도로 비전 트립을 가는데 비행기 일등석을 탔어요. 봉사하러 가면서 일등석을 탔다는 것 자체가 그만큼 준비가 안됐다는 거죠. 비행기에 타서 다른 사람들을 보니 저 뒷편의 일반석에 있더군요. 부끄러움에 이륙 후 일반석과의 사이에 커텐이 닫힐 때까지 고개도 들지 못했습니다."

모태신앙인 차씨는 지난 40년 동안 한 번도 예수의 메시지를 접하지 못했다고 고백했다. 컴패션을 만나고 3년이 흐른 지금 43세인 그의 신앙은 그 어느때보다 견고하다. '왜 저에게는 한 번도 목소리를 들려 주지 않는 겁니까'라고 원망한 적도 있었다.

"하나님께서 저를 그 곳으로 보낸 것은 아이들이 불쌍해서가 아니었습니다. 바로 저를 불쌍히 여기셨기 때문입니다. 서 대표가 아이들을 만나기 전 그러더군요. '아이들에게 사랑한다 너희들은 소중한 존재다라고 말해주고 꼭 안아주세요.' 그런데 그 곳에서 예수님이 저에게 똑 같은 말을 해주더군요. 저를 사랑한다고요."

It was really funny watching parts 1 and 2. I got really upset by what happened to HB in the 3rd part... I'm not going to ruin it for you guys so I'll put it up in spoilers then.

I got so mad because this fake GJP, who's name is Park Hweeson, a MC on Happy Together kissed HB. I wished HB slapped him. He was over the line. And then the pottery thing, he was getting too close. I think the other girls got the hint so at the end, Kim Shin Young rode on the carriage with him alone. I seriously hoped HB would've used some taekwondo moves on him. It's okay if you're close to give a kiss, but HB isn't even close with him. There's nothing on IG that says they need to kiss. I mean, it's not a love show like WGM. I think that guy was a little too desperate. If this was aired earlier and HJ saw this, maybe he would've said something to him on Happy Together...

I just feel sorry for HB cause she got taken advantage of... Of all the guys, it had to be him. I might sound like an anti now but I'm just upset that she was taken advantage of and that guy didn't have the respect for her...
