juu, u can find most of HB's clips at my479M youtube channel. for NoDaji's debut episode, it started at this LINK. u may find the subsequent part there.

my internet connection was very slow since past few days. so far i only managed to watch part 1-3 of the show (in total there's 5 parts). i m not too sure the objective of the show (since the title was traslated culture and heritance, is it for tourism purposes? idk) but it was entertaining. so far i have a good time watching shin the chicken and the oldest (i think so, since everybody called her unni) girl in the group (stil cant get her name).

as far as hwang bo is concerned, she dont participate much in cracking the hillarious moment of the show. for this episode (up to part 3) she was diligently competing against her opponents. kekeke...

but i dont have heart watching her running after the truck for quiet a distance. it must be tiring. i was very happy when she finally able to answer the question and got in the truck. but is that hwang bo replacing her unni when she get back hit the road? iskisk, she's too kind.



this is people that i know even before the show. i know jae dong and taeyeon from Star Golden Bell and shin from X-man.





some screencap from the first part. hwang bo looks a little plump with the dress. i thought she was gaining weight again. but when she changed to the pink shirt, she was back to her slender to-die-for figure. as long as she is happy. i m cool at any size she choose to be.

based on what ive seen so far--which isnt much because we just saw the first ep.

hye ryeon(oldest girl)
is of course, their unni.
so if the members are divided between genders, shed be the unspoken "leader".

she is the counterpart of jae dong of the men's team.



the thin girl, who looks a little like a hyper mouse^^ is also there for the Gag factor.
she is somewhat a mix of boram and shin bong sun.

shes the counterpart of ms. shin.



the shortest, is for "cute" and demure, to cover that fanbase.

and Hb to appeal to the male population (as well as female, like us here) as the sexy, independent woman who can kick a$s.


of course this isnt a sure thing since the characters in a show/program can shift and change their image in the group according to the ratings. its strange because i dont see kim tae hyeon in the pic of the nine MCs (and he wasnt in the show either)...?

edited: ah, i understand now. someone posted a picture of tae-hyeon the actor, but i dont think that tae-hyeon is the sarcastic/witty guy tae hyun/hyeon from star golden bell that is also on this show.^^ correct me if im wrong, of course

anyway, i hope it improves eventually so that there would be more people watching.

I am feeling a bit shaken up about our Angel having to run for so long in the rain.

About Hwang Bo's new album, I hope her management company decide to have more copies or at least make it available online for international fans like us.

My brother often goes to Korea. I asked him to get Hwang Bo's previous albums for me. He couldn't find it anywhere. He said maybe because he didn't pronounce her name correctly.

After that Hwangbo make her own name and never use any people in the industry. She's very private and never heard her has any scandal and top of that she's mostly spend her time doing Charity and out of the country. She's have one interview that said "Im happy I'm not number one coz I'ts to burden" . I think Hwangbo is a type of person that don't bother if she's not in the top and a think her charity work more priority to her than her music and which that's very ADMIRABLE. I'ts sad because Korean people should appreciate people like Hwangbo. She's contribute alot in charity works not only Korea but even in the other country that children in needs. Why she's not popular because she make other SHINE. Why Kim Hyun Joong said that she was SEND BY GOD.. i don't want to explain this because you guys know already the answer. Why we like Hwangbo....because Hwangbo is down to earth,kind,generous very loving, loyal to her friend,easy to please which we see her in wgm. just sing for her or give her peanut necklace ..she's happy...and that's our loving Hwangbo. Remember Angelina Jolie became more popular when she's doing her Charity work. Our loving Hye jung would became just like her..not probably now maybe in near future. She's almost there..we just to wait and she will became international star and that's I pray for her..we just support her. I'm to careless if she's not popular in Korea for me she's number 1...

I do think that Hwangbo isn't that interested in being number one either. I'm sure with how well WGM did last year or even her time in X Man, she could have jumped on a number of offers to do other things or take on more projects. Even though she was teased by Song in Moohan Girls about being popular because of KHJ, I admire how she also chose not to captalize on her WGM success, and spoke out openly about wanting to be seen as Hwangbo rather than Hwang Buin. (All the way fighting HB!)

Also, I think HB has chosen to be with her current agency, not just out of loyalty and friendship, but because other are probably much more sincere and less likely to try and emulate most other agencies in squeezing the living essence out of her with back to back schedules. I'm sure HB has a say and chosen to be more selective about work she wants to do because (as pointed out by orig63) she wants to be able to spend time with her charity work?

In all, although I'm a little sad about the thousand copies run, but there's always reprints!

she was so nice and concerned to her unnie and took her place to run in the rain.... and still fit and strong as ever! Loved how she was all business and single handedly lifted the 25kg slab of meat for the 100kg weigh in challenge even though Jae Dong tried to stop her.

Crossing fingers for more episodes to come... I see a few of the funny guys from Golden Bell- hopefully once the audience warms up, we'll get more fans for the show and subs!

nitimoni people ask you why you like Hwang Bo too? I get asked that question by some of my friends who are into korean celebs too. They would often go "Oh who is she?" Then when I tell them its more of like "Oh okay why not blah blah..." I think most of my friends likes what the majority likes like WG, SNSD, etc. More of who's popular but for me I don't like Hwang Bo just for popularity like what orig63 said, more of because she's got a generous heart. Its okay as long as we all know what kind of a person Hwang Bo is and that she's number 1 in our heart. I just get sad when people even my sister gives me the "oh you like her," expression its more of a well why not. Hye Jung's Angel fighting!!!

Its kind irrelevant to say she doesnt WANT to be #1. But lets face it ever since chakra broke up the only good choices the management made for her has send her to xman and WGM. Also the type of music she did when her first solo album came out was not at all what was going on in the music scene at that moment and THATS why it tanked. Trust me i have been to many many places looking for hwangbo stuff and as soon as u say her name pplo look at u like u r from another planet or didint know she was doing anything after chakra broke up.

Sadly for us international fans there is not that much we can do to help her popularity in korea but search for her a lot on internet sites and when her single's come out try and buy the songs in Mnet or any other place where u can legally buy her music. I wish her a lot of luck on her new show (for me its a MUCH MUCH better program than infinity girls wich i only watch because she is in it. 90% of the shows are just not funny to me)

I'm totally with you all !.. Hwang Bo is honestly the first ever female Korean celebrity that I absolutely love to bits.. Although she may not be the "most popular" star in Korea, she to me outshines all of them with her beautiful personality and heart.. It's such a shame that Korea doesn't realize what an asset she is to the industry but whatever to them as long as her fans value her as a singer and as a person then Hwang Bo will always be No.1 to us ! ..
