I just bought Goong volume one in English at Borders. It came in several days ago and I just got to the store. At the beginning of the book Park So Hee said that she started Goong in high school. "My classmates were the only people to read it at the time." Wow what talent. She goes on to say that she never expected it to end up in WINK and to be going on for so long. She goes on to thank everyone. There's also an interview at the end of volume 1.

@Mommie Alice: yep.. v13 is the latest in korean. v1 in english released last dec. dunno about the other two questions.. maybe somebody else can help with those. previously it was thought that it's gonna end at v12 but of course that didn't happen. my ideal no of volumes would be 10-15 vols. more than that, the story gets draggy. i don't want that to happen with goong..

i think it's a little bit different depending on the publisher.
for example, WINK, the official host of goong releases a new chapter of goong each month,
and so far volume 13 is the most recent one released.
but then, some other publishers put like only 4 chapters in each book so that it turns out to be 14 volumes when it's the same content as volume 13, ya know?
and so... from the pattern i've seen, i predict that the next 14th volume will be out around... april/may.
and i dunno how many volumes there will be,
but it seems to be coming to an end... ^^

Thank you. I have all 13 volumes and since it's taking so long, I think once the whole thing is done I have to re-read them.

I hope I remember to check with the bookstore in April/May to see if Vol. 14 came out! LOL!
