I'm sooooo happy that Goongs gunna be coming to the US in late-May..yay!! Now we can finally have it in book form. Though...it's gunna be hard waiting, hehe.

OMG!!! I love you and your friend!!!!! You guys rock!!!! Every two weeks is fine with me, better then re"reading" (acutally more like re"lookin at pictures" ) the raws... Thank you guys so much for doin this; it makes my day when a new Goong chapter, raw or scanlated (especailly scanlated ) is released. Again thank you so much for working hard for other peeps

Update: My photobucket is back up and running! It is now orgainzed! I also noticed that there were a few missing scans and some scans were out of place, but that's all fixed now! Have fun reading!!!

but i kno my friend bought hers here, but it was much more expensive.

jus an observation..has anyone noticed the manhwa illustrations in these later chapters have gone less funny? As in less of the 'comical/exaggerated' drawings. Maybe it doesn't fit in as to how the story is progressing but still..i remember laughing my head off in the first few volumes cause of Park So Hee's illustrations....

Anyway, someone in the drama thread requested synopsis summaries? So i made my 12 yr old sister do it. No, i'm not a tyrant (at least i think so) but she sorta spends her free time writing summaries for manga sites so hey, why not. haha..



Volume 1, Chapter 1, SUMMARY:
Three girls in school uniform are talking and excited about the upcoming King’s birthday which has been classified as a national holiday. Schools are closed, the palaces Gyeongbok and Geunjeong will be opened to the public and members of the royal family will be presenting citizens with presents. One girl named Chae Gyeong is getting overly excited about celebrations.

However you must be wondering why would 21st century, modern Korea celebrate the tenth anniversary of the King’s inheritance. This is a fictional story as very few countries still retain a constitutional monarchy, with palaces and royal blood. The palaces of Korea have been empty and the royal blood extinct ever since the country was engaged in war with Japan.

Thus, history has been altered. Instead of tourists in empty palaces, we have gardeners and maid that have gone though intensive training. Every year events are hosted by the Royal Family, are eagerly awaited by the people and T.V stations.

In a classroom, the answer sheet to a test is passed around. “Hey, Chae Gyeong, aren’t you going to do it?” a girl asks her friend. Chae Gyeong however tells her no and continues napping. She overhears all the answers, discovering she got them all wrong.

At the locker, Chae Gyeong is depressed. She complains her mom is going to be hard on her, begging her friend for food for a couple of days. Then her friend glances out the window seeing the Seja (prince). They both rush to the window looking at the prince forgetting their troubles wondering why the Seja doesn’t go to the royal institute. When the Seja glances at the sky, they hide .

The Seja remembers a conversation in the morning with the Uhmamama (Prince’s Mother).
The Uhmamama stated that now the Seja was 17, he must marry. He had the choice of choosing his own bride or someone they picked out. He is depressed because he hoped to spend his life with lots of women.

Chae Gyeong and her friend are going to the incinerator, though building A. They encounter the Seja whom then throws his shoes at them. She then imagines what would happen in a romance manga (references to Hana Yori Dango). The sad reality is all they dare to do is mumble threats. When Chae Gyeong encounters a bruise on her wrist, gets the courage to yell at him that she’ll feel sorry for his bride. This provokes the Seja whim retaliates, "I'll be fine as long as a b**** like you don't marry me!!"

But it seemed fate had other plans for them.

I'd write summaries but much rather have people read the manga as I'm sure they'll enjoy it more, but that surely was a great summary and intro. Hopefully that'll lure them in, hehehe...

i'm currently starting to read the manhwa from jess's photobucket album and i didn't realize that it would be funny. like the brother wanting to look like Eun JiWon & Eric, and how silly CG acts. hehe it's fun reading it.

but i'm being bad though, i'm suppose to be starting my essay...oohhh ur bad influences people...oh my.

You blame me ? LOL ...it's okay, since it is such a good manhwa, I'll gladly take the blame ! hehe...

I re-read it last night myself, no matter how many times I re-read it, I just can't stop. I stayed up till very early this morning and now my eyes are so puffy from lack of sleep, hehe. Now I just have to make myself wake up really early tomorrow to watch it live. aigoo, how am I going to do that.

I think .Cherry. meant the English version. On Amazon it says that the Ice Kunion is publishing an English version, but it's coming out so slowly:
