That's a good question! From the way things are going and knowing that the drama will be 20 episodes, I think that the author will likely finish off along with the drama. Most of Vol. 11 is out already and if I'm correct, I believe Vol. 12 will be the last. If it is synched together, both the drama and manhwa, I say that's pretty darn good! That means no spoilers for either the drama or the manhwa, which will keep us, the viewers and readers guessing what the ending will be.

hmmm approx the author produces a book every 3 months.
the last book 10 was printed at the end of september 2005. so i think book 11 is about to be out soon~ (i hope.) and she did mention somewhere that she is going to keep the story at medium length.. around book 12 or 13?
so perhaps the drama will end first then the book.

and i think the comic is abit draggy for me because it kept revolvin around shin and cg not opening up toeach other. i mean arhggg itz about time.. the fans are like waitin and waiting.. and yeah i agree that until now, it doesnt have aNY form of indications that it will be ending soon. i hope this author will not be like some famous authors of the past, whose comic had become famous. they just wanna earn more money and they make the comic more draggy. i hope she keeps her promise and end it in mid length

is that so? any more background or details on that?
2. was SHIN framed about the fire? who could have done that?
3. who are SHIN's allies in the palace? who's on his side? who is that elderly man who is his aide? is he related to SHIN somehow?

1. i think shin's dad and Yul's mum had feelings for each other.. but yul's mum chose yul's dad instead because yul's dad was the crown prince then. she chose power over love. but too bad before yul's dad even become king, he died. and shin's dad became the crown prince and then king.
2. as for the fire.. i suspect that yul's mum set fire to it herself -.- this is my guess
3. allies? hmmm probably himself and some royalties who believe that he is more suitable as a king. and of course chaegyong, his mum. his dad is like guilty because he promised his decreased brother that yul will become the crown prince and also the dad has feelings for yul's mum
