I made a request in the MP3 review section but no one answered and me being the impatient person that I am decided I might get faster results this way. My previous mp3 player was an Ipod mini and...well, let's just say that it was a constant source of frustration. Anyhow...I narrowed down my choices from various reviews and stats to the:

Samsung K5

-30hrs battery
-4GB
-speakers (although this is somewhat unnecessary for me...)
-$260

iriver clix

-25 hours of battery life
-2GB
-$169.99

S10 (comparison in size to Ipod nano)

-8hrs battery (eh...)
-2GB
-miniaturized version of the clix
-approximately $200

N12

-13hrs battery
-2GB
-approximately $200

I only listed stats which are important to me, which is battery life, price and its capacity for music.

I've read numerous reviews, none of them consistent which is why I'm having so much trouble deciding which one to get. So, help please?

Or if you know of another good player, please let me know. Originally, I was looking for an mp3 player that had long battery life, has at least 4GB, is around the size of an Ipod mini (preferably smaller), and one that allows me to organize/transfer music easily.

Any help would be much appreciated

i would get the N12 or the samsung.. but since you don't really need the speakers, you should get the N12. the clix is okay too.. but i think it's too small.

13 hours of battery life? that kinda sucks.

I would go for the clix n(cheaper) or the first one (looks kinda cool)

Samsung K5 is 260 with 4gb and the N12 is 2gb and about 200 >< An extra 60 bux for double the gb. I would go for the K5. THe K5 also has 30hr playback compared to the N12's 13 hours.

There's also the Clix which is cheaper abd 2gb. But yeah its up to you and how much you want to spend
