who here likes pork rinds?
ahah i know this is so american~

i tried it once, it tasted like this fried pork fat thing that my grandma and mom makes...
anyway. i made a dipping sauce(rice vinegar+crushed garlic+soy sauce) for the pork rinds. and it tastes sooo goood! ><

pork rinds are not just american

the mexican grocery store has the best pork rinds , they are called "chicharonnes" fried pork skins with meat, they are really thick and crunchy

yes, I like to eat them, but they are so fattening, so i only eat it once in a while

lots of asians also make fried pork rinds

I sometimes get embarrassed to admit it, but yes, I LOVE pork rinds. People usualyl don't try it b/c I guess it sounds nasty/fattening/etc, but it's really not that bad. They're airy & crunchy!

pork rinds are delicious and i love to eat the spicy kind. i know they are unhealthy, but sometimes i want a crunchy snack.

Lol, yeah; my dad eats them all the time. @_@ My mom makes some too with the meat attached sometimes, and it's really good with rice. She complains after cooking them though, because it makes their (her and my dad) blood pressure sky rocket. XD

Pork rinds!! I love them! Especially nice if they're still realy crunchy. SO FAT but who cares? lol

Oooh they had packs of those when I was in HK.

ohh yeaa~ pork rinds can get very addicitive...that's why i try to stay far far far away from them =P
