Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows what happens when I withdraw from a course. Would the W on my transcript affects my chances of applying to grad school or will my employer look at that ?

thanks

I heard that a W will be looked at by grad school admissions and everything so unless you absolutely need to, you probably shouldn't.

I don't think they care about it though if you withdrew or not. Of course this can be different with different schools. Especially when it has nothing to do with your major, they would definetly not care, or shouldn't anyways.

when you apply for grad school just be prepared to explain the reasoning behind your withdrawal.

it's nothing bad as long as it's not a continuous cycle of withdrawals...

Make sure you dont have a lot of 'W' withdraw classes on your transcript
It will not look good at all.
