^___^b so so sooooooo...I went to shoot some pools with my friends at this korean billiard place yesterday at furrreakin' 2 in the morning...so so...we needed 15$ for an hour...and and...none of us really had any money left...kakaka...we wasted so much on random crap before that...so we all pitched in and only found around 9$ (I pitched in 3 pennies!^___^! my friends didn't use them though..I was kinda dissappointed. haha... and..and we just walked up to the guy and asked if we could just play for 30 minutes with the 9$...BUT BUT BUT the guy gave us the WHOLE hour! ^__^ an hour and 10 minutes to be exact! akakakkaak!


so what does all that have to do with shinhwa?


hehe...b/c the place was korean, they had korean music...and my friends all know how much I <3 kpop..they asked if I could name all of the songs being played.


I was able to name only lee soo young. b/c the old guy was only playing ballads and music that I assume are wayyyyyy before my kpop time...



soo soooooooo...I walked up to the old guy's table and asked if he had any shinhwa stuff.



and he laughed at me...





he told me I said "Shinhwa" funny... and said "no. no shinhwa." stressing HIS "REAL/PERFECT KOREAN PRONOUCIATION"... I was sad..
and he shouted to my group of friends while pointing at me and said..
"Your friend! She cute! She tried to speak korean to me!"

and then my friends laughed at me. T_T

probably the only language that i'm fluent is spanish, i could understand perfectly english too, but honestly my pronuntiation totally sucks. i understand portuguese and italian too, because they are very similar in sounds to spanish, Native english speakers confuse a lot spanish and portuguese.

to be honest i don't try to master any language i think that as long as i'm able to comunicate and understand i'm fine. probably that guy can't understand any other language besides korean. and in the global world that we live today being uni-language is sad.
