My roommates and I are very liberal with our stuff. We use each other's stuff all the time which is fine. The only thing is I hate that my roommate uses my stuff and then sometimes she looses them!! Or she uses my computer and Xs out of important things. I've started to confront her about it, but I'm also being more organized with my stuff so I know when she does it and the problem is easier to fix.

My roommate is SUPER messy and calls herself clean and neat. She NEVER vacuums or cleans and you can literally see DUSTBALLS under her desks! GROSS! Then she spends an hour in front of the mirror doing her STUPID hair which is all damaged anyways. She has to spray at least three different junk onto her head and causes me to suffocate. And she has allergies and doesn't buy tissues and just uses mine. I know it's just tissues but she goes through my tissues so fast and I'm the one who's buying them. Also, she sleeps at like 11 EVERY SINGLE DAY. When she's sleeping, I turn off the light and stay quiet. However, on days when I'm REALLY tired and sleep, she makes SO MUCH noises, banging and dropping everything. THEN SHE NEVER SHUTS the door, and I hear all the loud noises outside.

Then comes her personality. She thinks she's perfect, and likes to rub things into your face. I think she's totally socially tactless, she likes to complain and always call other people stupid when SHE"S the DUMB ONE. She also likes to announce to me her whole schedule EVERY DAY, so I know where she is, what she's going EVERY SECOND. omg, I don't care, seriously. seriously, i know all her grades to all her quizzes, or like how many problems she has left on an assignment. SHE"S SO CLINGY.

last thing, she has earphones, but I think she lacks the brain to use them. PLUG THEM INTO YOUR EARS. gosh, her loud music + her obnoxious spanish audio homework drives me INSANE.

I'm so glad I'm living in a single next year.

First semester i had an international korean roommate. she was a junior in korea and she was really nice. But i thing i hated was how she would blast her music without using earphones (she didn't have any..D:) and she will get phone calls through the dorm phone at 3 am or later. Plus she liked the room really warm while i liked it cool.

Oh well. She was only here for a semester. So now i have the room all to myself, yay!

ugh, i'm getting so irritated with my roommate ever since the first semester. she ALWAYS get
phone calls during the night and sometimes in the middle of the night. seriously, do you not
have the courtesy to go out to the living room and call? are you that lazy? she always bangs
her stuff on her table. and literally barges into our room when i'm sleeping so i always wake
up because of her. whenever there's no toilet paper, she always leaves like 5 squares of toilet
paper so it's not even usuable. she doesn't even change the toilet paper and still leaves like 3
squares. seriously, she's the most laziest person i've met. she doesn't do her weekly chores
either. i don't think she cleans the toilet or shower and only takes out the trash since that's
not very gross. another things that irritates me is when she does her makeup and hair forever!
she's always sitting at her desk in the morning and sprays all kinds of hairspray junk into her
hair. oh and, i've never seen her brush her teeth at night. she always go to sleep late but
i've never seen her brush her teeth. her toothbrush is always inside of the shower stall too
so i don't know...pretty gross hygiene if you ask me.

another thing that i kind of think is rude and really inconsiderate of my roommates is that
they always get ready to go eat at the dining hall or go to some store like target or the mall
and they ask me if i want to go RIGHT as they are exiting the door. like i'm not even ready
to go out and they ask me if i want to go eat? i mean, i know it's kind of them to ask, but
are you feeling sad that you guys are leaving without me to go eat? what makes it even
sad is that they are asking me right as they leave when i didn't know where they are going
and i wasn't even ready. ..thanks for asking.

urgh my roomate 1 year ago feel inlove with me. it made our situation super awkward..... and since i lived with my sister as well, i always took her side when they fought. she was SOO unclean and he never bought any food. so i was the one cleaning and shopping. and she would cook and make a huge mess. and they always threw parties that trashed our place and i always cleaned up afterwords. it was hell....

it ended really badly. really really badly...


but i live in res now in sweden. res is amazing here. i dont have roommates, technically, each person has their own rooms that have their own washrooms, but the kitchen is shared. and NO ONE effin cleans it!! i always clean the kitchen.
everyone is supposed to be responsible for cleaning it every week, we have this sheet that we stick on the next door everytime someone finishes.
its still stuck on the board in the kitchen. becasue they dont even move it around.

when i leave to visite my family for a week and come back its like all hell broke loose in the ketchin. after i unpack i go downstairs, pull up my sleeves and clean.
my aunt yells at me and tells me not to do it. but i cant help it, it grosses me out.

omg and last week, i stopped taking out the trash because im THE ONLY ONE that takes out the trash, so i wanted to see if anyone else would do it

they acutally moved the trash outside because it started to overflow and stink . no one would effin change it .
so after 2 weeks i gave in. thats AFTER we all got warnings...

just 2 hours ago i made the kitchen SPOTLESS, and this chick went downstairs to cook her boyfriend and her lunch and left the kitchen absolutely filthy.

Our house has dishes that hasn't been cleaned from 8 months ago.

One of the bathrooms have a new layer on top of the floor.

Our vaccuum is broken the landlord refuses to replace it.

We have atleast $30-$40 dollars worth of empty beer bottles just downstairs.

One of our bathrooms won't flush and our handyman kept promising that he will fix it, it's been a week already.

I hate how the house is treated like a frat house 4 days of the week with the loud booming music and never ending amounts of alcohol remaining the next day. The roomate who causes these parties never clean up after her friends and they are all lazy slobs that shouldn't even be in school. Parties go late to 3-4am in the morning too, can't shut them up cuz they're drunk or high or both.

They're not smart, they're in their 5th year going onto the 6th for some. But i lost it when one of her friends puked in my shower. i went down there in the crowd of drunkards and looked for the girl and dragged her back up to the bathroom to clean it. she was drunk and very rude, but the best thing is that she never knew how she ended up with her own puked in her hair and face because she was so smashed.

If they are not doing weed at night they are doing sheesha... never a day without either or.

one more month until i'm out of this hell hole. gawd even her own cat hates her. the cat is so frightened by the noise and people that she would sleep in my room the whole day and not leave anywhere else in the house because it's so filthy.

I am either always in my room or out on campus studying, so when i'm here i can either hear people puking because my room shares a wall with one of the bathrooms... and my window faces the entrace of the house so i can see more people puking outside... yay.

i live with my parents so i dont have a room mate,but about last year ive been to my friends at their dorm celebrating my friends birthday and what i saw was preety gross.
everything was fine until all people got really loose cuz of the alcohol.girls were puking in the showers or boys toilets cuz of some kind of unknown reason girls toilets were always busy/full,so when i and my friends wanted to pee we had to go to boys toilets and it was a HUGE entertainment for them seeing gilrs going there .someoen even vomitted in the hall and the "best thing" was that noone wanted to clean it,so they just put flour on the womit incase noone steps there and continued smoking around the vomit. and its just small things what happened there,dont even want to remember more.
and the next morning all those people were gone extremely early,so we had to clean all that they left after the party......

She doesn't have a flippin' life. I guess it makes sense since my whole floor and me are engineers. She's pretty smart and she always does her homework a week in advance, I mean that's cool, I'm totally fine with that. But she never leaves the room! She only has early classes so she's done with class before noon. She gets the room all to herself for at least 3 hours when I'm in class. I can never get any alone time in my room. She has no friends except her one high school friend. Currently she's been reading her book since I came back from class which was 6 hours ago. The only time she leaves the room is for eating or going to the bathroom. The only time I get my personal space is when she takes an hour long shower. Who takes that long of a shower!? I guess I should be thankful that she takes long shower. So instead of waiting for her to leave the room, I just escape to my boyfriend's room but it's so annoying because its my room too and I want to be alone sometimes. She also goes to sleep extremely early. She always sleeps before 10. I end up doing my homework in the dark because she needs to sleep. Sometimes I'm kicked out of the room because she needs to sleep. I'm always adjusting to her schedule but she does absolutely nothing for me

you should just talk to her on other times when you want the room to yourself, but what do you need to do alone in the room that she can't be in? is the the type that talks to you or even when she's in the room she just ignores whatever ur doing? cuz those two are entirely different ppl and i would very much prefer the latter.

i guess if you really want the room to yourself let her know and she'll leave~ at least you have a boyfriend to escape to~ she has no one like you said.

i'd very much prefer to have your roomate over mine. lol

Ugh, my roommate is really nice and considerate but she's SO forgetful and absent minded! Like for the last week, we had like a moth invasion in our kitchen and I was trying to figure out where they were all coming from... and it turns out it was from her food that she forgot about and left (opened) in the cabinet....

I'm a first year and currently live in a triple. Both of my roommates want to rent an apartment our third year since we all decided where to live next year already (which is not together). Needless to say, I WILL NOT go through another year with both of them!!!!!

My roommate #1:

• Is very rude and only cares about herself. She only talks about herself in all conversations and only wants everything to benefit herself.
• My schedule is basically stay up all night, go to class in the morning, and sleep in the day time. You see, she doesn't believe in sleeping in the day time (nor taking naps). So she PURPOSELY tries to wake me up. PURPOSELY!!! She told me this herself.
• My desk is the cleanest in the room. But both our desks are adjacent to each other with the small fridge in the middle. But for some reason, she chooses to do EVERYTHING on my desk which leaves it sticky and messy and left with trash! She doesn't even bother cleaning it a little. -__-
• I used to be a daily weed smoker before I started college & recently quit (I know weird but yeah lol) so I had brought my own weed because SoCal weed sucks. Her friend (which is a really cute guy) wanted to roll me a blunt (which I didn't even end up smoking btw because SHE smoked it since I was busy and had to go out one night) and I didn't want to be rude so I said yes. Long story short, I had an 8th and they used more than half of it to roll one blunt. Yeah, this does not happen! I saw the blunt before I left to go out, it was not even thick!
• One day, she woke up late and was late for work. I was downstairs in the common area and she threw me my other roommates keys and told me to take her to work. I agreed thinking, yeah she must've asked #2 for her keys or how else she'd get them?. When we got to the car and halfway there, she informed me she had not asked #2! This wasn't until I asked her about it because I was thinking, how did #2 ever agree to this because she has a brand new car! I felt terrible having to return #2 her car keys after dropping #1 off.
• This morning she came back late from a party (I didn't go because I was sick) and even though there are like 3 clocks in the room, she chose to use my cellphone (which is right next to my pillow as I was sleeping) and basically threw it in my face after she got the time -__-
• She always complains about how much she hates it here! Then go home!!!! GAWDDDDD I also hate how she gets away with everything so easily. For example, she got caught for plagiarizing off one of my dormmates papers. She actually really did copy word for word. She only got a 0 for the assignment and actually passed the class with a C+
• Lastly, her stuff takes over more than half the room!!!!! WTF! and she complains that I have too much stuff. I DON'T!
• Never has her phone on silent or even vibrate! Always have to have a really loud ringtone-__- and more than half the time she leaves it ringing and doesn't even pick up!
• Always falls asleep with her TV on so then either me or #2 has to turn it off just to get barely a good nights sleep.
• Loves being naked and her body really is not great at all.
• BROKE my iPod earphones and said she was going to replace it with really cheap ones. WTF.
• Leaves her alarm clock without turning it offff and it's really really loud so then! I have to climb up her bunk and turn it off -__-

My roommate #2

• She complains about how much she hates it her and chooses to go home every single weekend. LIKE GROW UP!! this is college. I miss home too BUT I still manage to suck it up and go home 2-3 times a year unlike her every single weekend. She has to drive 2.5 hours home one way and so her gas mileage goes up dramatically every time so then she starts complaining about how her mom yells at her for having such high mileage when it's a brand new car.
• She sleeps like 16 hours a day so she refuses to go to class just because she's tired. LIKE OMG NO ONE IN COLLEGE IS?
• She always leaves her food out and uncovered for days
• She always tells me that she'll pick me up or take me to the airport but always flakes and ends up going to go see her boyfriend an hour away at the Marines station!
• She refuses to go to any parties if she knows she has to be DD so it leaves me always having to be DD (which I don't mind) but omg she isn't even considerate about how I've been the DD for the last 50 parties-__-
• She's sooo spoiled. She gets everything she wants
• She tells me she's not selfish but she really is.

Dormmates

• M overreacts wayyy too much and her life revolves around myspace Tops. If she doesn't like you, you won't be on there. She also goes crazy if I don't text her back within 5 minutes and I will receive about another 3 texts as I reply to her. I managed to get her to break up with her boyfriend of 2 years because he treated her terribly. She's going to run back to him because she doesn't like the single life.
• G is dropping out of school just because he feels like. Good for him but he just creeps me out in general He always runs around with his shirt off and gets all touchy feely with the girls in the house and thinks he's all that just because he has a muscular bod.
• L only talks about herself. ONLYY herself. One time we were talking about how one of my roommates got into a really bad accident and so that's why everyone was in our room. L comes in and says oh really I've been in 2 of those. OMG IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU!!!!
• D always talks about herself and follows my roommate around and only talks in Spanish so I won't understand them. And acts as if I'm not in the room.
• I has the biggest crush on my roommate and would always come into the room but act as if I weren't there.

There's probably more stuff but I'll just stop here.

I really need to talk about one of my roommates. She comes home drunk and screams and talks at the top of her lungs. Her 'bestfriend' practically lives with us and even parks her car in front of our house every day. They both walked in at like 3:30 am, and I was cooking for my church. They just walked right pass me really fast without a word. She never speaks, so I stopped speaking to her also. This roommate, let's call her A, had the nerve to have her dad email my other roommate's (K) dad to tell him that she is moving out. I did not get an email, a phone call, or anything. She still has not talked or informed about this, and we all live together. It is pretty sad and immature of her to get her dad involved and have him email K's dad. It is like she does not care to let me know about anything. She even had the nerve to text K to ask her if she has put an ad on Craigslist and if not she needs to because she is moving out soon. It does not matter because her lease is not up until August, and she will be paying if we do not find a roommate in time. Also, she even accused me and my other roommate of drinking her mango juice. We told her we did not (I absolutely hate mangos), and then she said our friends drunk it then. We didn't even have any friends over. She also calls roommate meetings for absolutely nothing. She complained to both of us about not telling her when the bills were due. She was like "I just feel like you guys did not tell me about the bills (we did constantly, but she does not talk to us), and it would be nice if you could post them or tell me (she never answers her bedroom door when we knock)." Then she goes "Because it's not like I just sit around on my butt, but I have to study and do homework, so I do not have time to go to the ATM (which takes very little time to do). I can't write checks like you two (she could get some for free)." One time we had a really bad storm, so me and K made sure we both made it home safely. K went to check on A, but got no answer (she was home at the time). We were kind of worried about A. Then days later she calls yet another roommate meeting and told K and me that she does not need anyone to baby her or check if she is home. She said she already has four parents and does not need anymore. Yet she needs us to post and constantly tell her about the bills. So she knew K had knocked on her door, and asked if she was home, but she did not bother to answer her. NICE! Then she got a rabbit without telling us, and we are not supposed to have pets. The rabbit smelled so bad because she never cleaned him. She goes, "I just do not have time to clean him (this does not take long)." He was stinking up the whole house, and he was just in her room downstairs. She finally took him home to stay with her sister. This one really made me mad. A's stepmother called and asked to speak to A (it was a Friday, and I had no classes on Fridays), so I said "Okay, hold on a minute." I knocked on A's door, and I knew she was in there because I heard her blow drying her hair., but she did not answer me even after I banged on her door (I know she heard me). Then I went back to the telephone and said, "I think she is in the shower, but I will tell her you called." Some minutes later A comes out of her room mad. She goes, "Why did you tell my mom that I was taking a shower. I am supposed to be at school right now, and now my parents know I am skipping." And I was like "That is your problem." How was I to know that she was skipping class? But I guess it is my fault that her parents caught her . So yeah, my roommate is crazy. There is plenty more where this came from, but I'll just stop here. I know this post is way too long, but it s nice to have a place to vent when I do not want my roommates to hear me talking about them on the phone .

one of my roommate doesn't like washing other people's dishes. I think I would have understood that when I was still in high school. But seriously? (We live in an apartment btw). If i didn't wash other people's dishes our sink would constantly be a MESS. Even if there is already a lot of dishes in the sink and she has to wash hers, she would place them all aside and other wash hers. sigh.
