man guys dont you just love the taste of fried ice-cream in your mouth? man i havent eaten it for ages!! *craves, like a pregnant lady tongue.gif * my friend's mom just opened up a restaurant and theres fried ice-cream!!! i havent had a chance to go eat some yet> what your favourite part? the crispy fried shell, or the melting ice-cream in your mouth? *drools, like seeing yunho LOL*

i have always wondered how they make it..and i still do..anyone got any ideas?

i use to like it, but in the end i found it too much of a bother, to eat the crust =P

It's better to eat the crust and the ice cream together because it mixes between hot and cold and textures.

yeah i like the mix of the fried shell and the ice cream... hmm i gotta try making a green tea ice cream version...

hmm... it's been a long frikken time, but i know that part of the ingredients is like crushed corn flake cereal.

really? weird.

i actually dislike fried ice cream... there are foods that taste good fried, and there are foods that don't, and i kinda put ice cream in the latter category. the only reason i would eat it is for the sheer wonder of it... just the idea that you can actually fry ice cream.

I had some last week..it's heaven.

My uncle told me you freeze the icecream first, then you get sponge cake, dip it in egg and then wrap the icecream ball in it, then dip in cornflake (the cereal) crumbles, and then freeze so it's hard. then deep fry really quickly.
And serve!

i've never tried that...the only time i was about to try it the waiter told me not to get it because it was too fattening x.x....haha...and i thought waiters were supposed to get to you buy lots of food ^0^;;;

I love how the hot crispy crust matches together with the cold ice-cream in your mouth. The green tea is really good.

i've never had any..
i don't get the whole concept, ice-cream is cold..so wouldn't it melt if you fry it?
