3 best team in each divison get 1-3 seed.

they changed it so that each division champ gets a spot anywhere between 1-4
1-4 is then organized by standing.
so for example, if this rule existed last year, it would have been
1. San Antonio
2. Dallas
3. Phoenix
4. Denver

At least don't rank them so close to the Knicks
If Cleveland can keep a healthy lineup in EVERYONE, they'll be in the top east.

You guys are ranking the Raptors pretty bad for a team that's currently 6-0 preseason. Yeah, I know it's preseason, but this is a team that started 0-10 in the regular season last year.
aren't the knicks undefeated in the preseason so far?

Nope. They were 3-0 before losing to the Celtics on Saturday. Raptors were 5-0 at that time.

So if a good team is losing badly in preseason, we should care, but not if a subpar team is doing well?
I don't mind your post of the Raptors finishing 9th in the East, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the outcome.
The rankings of the others however urk me.
