damn you did a goodjob, i suually dont like gti's but i raelly like this one. i remeber when you first got it looks completely different now. paint looks real good.

Looks really slick kuku. The GTi's to me look a bit fat to me, but they're still nice looking. You did a nice job keeping it clean. I liked the red stripe on the grille area though, I wish you kept it. I like the "Fast" and Darth dash combo haha.

Yeah I am wondering the same thing. You never mentioned why you repainted your car. Very nice color.

haha one day I saw a blue car and was like, hmm I want that color. Two days later, I went to get it done. Took like 3 weeks.

Original color was grey. Total cost so far for ALL parts and labor is 8-9k
Would've been cheaper. I bought some forged rims from DTM/Jline (>$2500), but had to sell them to pay off the paint job.... lost a LOT because no one wanted them.

One main problem on most GTI's is the airbag fault. German car's, especially VW's, like to throw CEL's ALL the time because they have a ton of electrical problems. My light came up once, some guys have had it 3 times. They have to go back to VW to get the light off.

Another problem, as with many cars, is the rattle. I had one annoying one that shook when I went over bumps. After a while, it went away. Some guys just go crazy over rattles. I just drone it out with loud music.

The seats aren't that comfortable. I cannot get a good seating position. Maybe it's because I'm 5'4" and weigh 110 pounds. "

The gear throws are long; I'll get a short shifter to solve this.

I dropped this car as much as my Integra, meaning I scrape over every little bump and ramp.

Iono... I still think an RSX would be the funner car to drive, but oh well. It's my car and I love it.

Your car lights a fire in my loins like nothing else.

I love the GTI's the old ones and the new ones. I really like the styling of the NEW GLI's as well. Only if they had a repuation as being reliable as the Civics or Integras. I hear they aren't as fast after work was done on them compared to civics and Integras too. Guess you cant have looks AND speed as well. I have always been a fan of hatches, when I go out and get a real job, I can start looking into buying a modding a car myself, but till then i'll just oogle yours *drool.

So I am a ricer as well since I detail cars, and I wash cars for several hours, and I like taking pictures of my final end results?
Do you even know how to properly wash and detail a car?

Anyway, your car looks pretty good man, not my cup of tea, but it seems you enjoy it, and thats all that matters.
