The CW network has threatened to pull Tyra Bank's talk show AND have her replaced on America's Next Top Model if she continues to gain weight. No fat chicks allowed, yo.

September 21. Talk show host Tyra Banks has consistently said that she wants be the next Oprah Winfrey. And that has the CW Network nervous. MediaTakeOut.com has learned that executives at the new CW Network are worried that Tyra is putting on too much weight.

A producer for the CW network told MediaTakeOut.com that Tyra has been instructed to lose weight immediately. According to our source, "Tyra still looks good, but she's put on close to 50 pounds since starting her talk show ... things are really getting out of control." Our source continued, "I mean, she doesn't have the greatest personality, so if she starts getting too heavy, it could be a real problem for the show."

But the bigger problem, tells our source, is with Tyra and America's Next Top Model. The producer tells MediaTakeOut.com that if Tyra doesn't lose weight, she may not return next season. Our tipster explains, producers were not happy with the way Tyra looked this season. Adding, "when you see [Tyra] next to the girls on the show, you realize how much weight she's put on ... it's almost ridiculous."

And the pressure by her network bosses has already caused Tyra to back down on a pledge she made to fans. MediaTakeOut.com has discovered that promo photos for ANTM were photoshopped in order to make Tyra look slimmer. This goes directly against the supermodel's promise not to have photos of her digitally enhanced. When she announced the promise, Tyra told reporters, "Modeling is an unreal business, but I wants to make it more real."

Representatives for Tyra were not available for comment.

i must say that she really is big compared to her supermodel days. maybe she just really got fed up with looking a certain way, she has been like that for most of her life.

i hope she recovers her supermodel body though, for the sake of antm still airing.

Well, I noticed on last night's episode of ANTM, that her armpits had fat folds... she gained alot of weight but she still looks good IMO.

Well, it's just that when you see her in VS ads wearing lingerie looking so fit and slim AND THEN you watch ANTM....your reaction is..."Oh! Whaaat?!!?"

It's like two totally different bodies....hmpf!

She's not FAT, she's just bigger than WE think her to be.

lol my friend and i were just commenting on this last night. She looks chubbier on ANTM than on the tyra show and the episodes of the tyra show are shot more recently than ANTM so..I don't know. She's still really pretty (with the makeup) despite the weight but I think that even though she's not a model anymore, she should lose a some of the weight. I feel kind of bad for her

i agree that she is getting fatter, but that doesn't mean she is fat. i think its good that she is living her life relaxed, now she is retired. otherwise she is gonna turn into janice dickinson. she was a good model and she is a good host and who say you need to look like a model to train models. maybe tyra will return to modeling someday as a plus size model

it's not going to stop me from watching the show =l

she has gained some weight, but she still looks good! i mean, she was skinny throughout her whole modeling career. ppl should give her credit & let her gain the weight now. afterall, she is retired! i mean, how are we supposed to look like in todays society? we cant be thin, or else we will be labled anorexic, and a skinny person cant gain weight w/o being criticized??.....its so sad.

i agree that she has been putting on weight but ... saying that she might not return next season because of her weight thats sort of mean... however she looks healthy to me --- not supermodel body anymore so what do you expect though...im sure if anyone stands next to a supermodel body they'd look fat >__<
