sorry, can't root for a team that has zero coach, a jackass owner, a sociopath at wide receiver, qb that's dating Jessica Simpson, and Bob Marley at RB.

you are suuuuuuuch a fanboy it's rediculous.
Wade isn't coaching on the sidelines on sundays, it's his coordinators. All wade does is run up and down the sidelines with pompoms and a miniskirt, screaming "GO GO GO!"
and what does me dating a hot girl have to do with anything?
Should i be jealous of Romo dating a hot chick with the IQ of a beaver?

No matter how great they are, no team is ever guaranteed a win. Super Bowl XLII was the most recent incident of the better team losing.

Don't get me wrong, I expect the Cowboys to have a great season, but anything can happen during the 16 weeks of the regular season.

Urk... I hate to talk about this but the Texans secondary is so bad that Reeves is expected to be the starting cornerback. Losing Dunta Robinson to an injury might be one of the worst things that happened last year and he is still expected to be out a good portion of the upcoming season. Argh. But yeah, I'm really worried about the Texans secondary. Not only do they have absolutely no depth at the position, but they also might be one of the youngest secondaries in the league. However, despite the current shortcomings, I wouldn't be surprised if the Texans defense becomes a top ten defense in the hopefully near future. Go Mario Williams, DeMeco Ryans, Amobi Okoye, and Dunta Robinson!

As for the offense, the offense is good enough to make the Texans contenders for a playoff spot. That's only if Andre Johnson is healthy throughout the season. That said, Texans team as a whole has a bright future. Now, if I could only do something that will get them out of the AFC South.

And yeah, I'm not a Cowboys fan. I enjoy watching them play, but a fan? No. Go Texans! Hopefully I'll get to see the Texans win a Super Bowl at some point in my life. It would be even better if they played in a Super Bowl against the Cowboys and won. Just imagine, Texans vs. Cowboys in a Super Bowl. That would be a dream come true.

ur argument about the dallas cowboys and their explosive defense is right and its only going to get better with the additions of zach taylor (which gives them experience) and pacman (who could be a solid corner and a nice addition if he is to be reinstated). idk what krn track star is saying.

and about the texans. ahhahah i feel you man the texans are definetely starting to become a good team and playoff material. but dont expect them to make the playoffs for a VERY long time. the colts jags and titans (my favorite team) are explosive teams that are just getting better at a faster pace than houston. very unfortuanted that the texans are stuck there but who knows??? maybe the texans will have an explosive season in like 2 years or so

Pstt, try be a Falcons fan...we have sucked ass for so long already I am about to give up already. For the Cowboys, they have the most talented team in the NFC, and they even got Pacman now. Him with Terence Newman (AKA NFC'S best corner) is killer, but the problem with the Cowboys wasn't the defense it was the offense which choked to the Giants, and hopefully they've grown up now and can play well in the pressure moments.

HAHAH awww sucks to be a falcons fan right now... btw thanks for alge crumpler.. smile.gif the titans appreciate it

Farve wants to un-retire and ask for a release from the Packers. crazy.gif

I hope the 49ers sign him and that will be a huge upgrade to Alex Smith/Shuan Hill.

Espn.com posted up an interesting article citing the odds of Favre landing on any of the 32 teams should he get the release that he wants from the Packers:

Brett Favre's 32 other options

Of course, teams like the Patriots, Colts, and Steelers are long shots. But here's what ESPN describes are the most ideal places for Favre to land:

QUOTE
Ideal Destinations

At 6-1, we have the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jon Gruden loves collecting quarterbacks, and this would be his greatest catch of all. If Favre becomes available, it wouldn't be a shocker if the Buccaneers make a run at him. And if they do, Tampa could be attractive to Favre. This is another team to watch.

7-1
Carolina Panthers: This could be an intriguing possibility, although on Saturday The Charlotte Observer reported that Panthers general manager Marty Hurney dismissed an Internet report that Favre was interested in playing for Carolina. That said, Favre probably would like to play in the South, and the Panthers are a good quarterback away from being a solid playoff contender. Jake Delhomme can be effective, but he is coming off elbow surgery. If Favre comes back and is no longer a Packer, keep an eye on the Panthers.

8-1
Baltimore Ravens: This could be a real possibility if Favre really wants to play this season. Baltimore is a decent team in need of a quarterback. Sure, the Ravens took Delaware QB Joe Flacco in the first round of the April draft. But no one would blame the Ravens for holding off on the Flacco era in favor of Favre for a year or two. If Favre wants to come back, Baltimore could be a place to consider.

25-1 Minnesota Vikings: This is the perfect landing spot for Favre. The Vikings are the best team in need of a quarterback. The addition of Favre would make Minnesota an instant Super Bowl contender. But there's a problem: The Packers likely would never let that happen.

If Favre were to be able to play again this season, he'd likely prefer to go to a team that has the tools to at least be playoff contenders. Obviously, his playing days are on the short end of the stick and he's just not going to a team that is in a rebuilding mode or is a perceivable long shot to make the post-season. The irony of it all is that teams like Minnesota and Chicago practically meet his criteria and are arguably just that impact QB short of those teams turning the corner. Yet, they are in the same division as Green Bay and this will be the sticking point as to whether the Packers will assent to Favre's request to be released outright. They'd rather have the power to trade him to a team of their choosing rather than have Brett freely walk onto a rival's starting roster.

As a wisconsin native and life long Packers fan, and having watched almost every game since the Favre era, I honestly wished he had stayed retired. They gave him every chance to come back. This is a no win situation for the Packers. But obviously he will be back for at least this season. The Packers wont release him, they'll either trade him or bench him.

Farve has it sooo good. I mean, if i retired from my job, then came back, retired, then came back, then told everybody that i was done and i gave all i had to give, then texted my former employer telling him i had the "itch" to work again, then demaned to be released from any obligation to that company so i can sign with other suitors...
man, that's the life.

More like Favre wont let Favre retire, if he stays retired then there would be no problems what so ever. Packers gave him all the time in the world to think it through and when they finally went with Rodgers he has an "itch" to play again. That's not fair to Rodgers and the Packers, good luck to Favre if he moves to another team to learn an entirely different playbook and develop some relationship with the receivers.

Aaron Rodgers should have his opportunity. It's his time now. I don't know if the Packers will be as good as last season though.

I wonder who will win the NFC North. The Minnesota Vikings look like they could be the ones to get that division.

Yay! We get the Lion's injury prone, may-never-live-up-to-expectation-bo-jackson-style running back. Welcome to the Bears!, Kevin Jones!

Yup, i believe that was over a month ago or something.
No doubt he'll end up on the cowboys somehow or another.
