49ers fired Mike Nolan and replaced him with Mike Singletary. While Singletary may do better than Nolan, I was hoping that they will bring Mike Holmgrem back next season to where he started his coaching career.

Nothing's going to change. Singletary will still take care of the defense and leave Martz and the offense alone. They might do better at drafting though.

I'm so pissed off at the Broncos lack of defense. They made that bum Cassell look good. That was pathetic! As soon as Champ got injured no one could cover Moss. Dre' Bly has been a BUST in denver. As well as Dwayne Robertson. I actually miss having Larry Coyer as the Defensive Coordinator now. At least when he was here, the Run D was a Beast. The last 2 D- Coordinators blow! The safeties are also Horrible!!! Ever since their leader on Defense Al Wilson got injured and was cut, their defense sucked ever since.....

Cowboys have become the Yankees of the NFL. Nothing but drama surrounding that team now. I don't know if any team ever had it as bad as the Falcons did last year. It feel good they have a future now. It is going to be a tough 2nd half. I hope they can make a playoff push. If they can go at least 7-9 then that is one heck of a turnaround. Hopefully Ryan continues to progress as the season goes on. Just like the Cowboys Falcons need a Secondary in the worst way.

Last week Ditka said Falcons were the best team in the South (I personally think it's Tampa). We'll see once Nov. 23 rolls around. You guys have one hell of a schedule left.

i think falcons are better than the bucs....but the bucs will be better if they all stay healthy..such as j. garcia, earnest graham, antonio bryant...but man in the preseason all the so called "experts" predicted the falcons 0-16 or last in the nfl...but man look at them now...especially the falcons-chicago game two weeks ago....

damn weak secondary of the cowboys

GO COWBOYS.....at least make it in the playoffs

p.s Romo will not play against bucs this sunday...cant grab the ball.......dammit get over your injury...its not that bad

is it just me? or does it seem like Brett's cellphone keeps on getting him into trouble (well, at least puts him on the news).
For example, Tampering allegations made against the Vikings that supposedly involved Favre making calls to the Vikes on a GB issued cellphone, The "call" that was "made" to the Lions for pointers on how to beat Green Bay, and lastly, the cellphone conversation between Romo and Favre about Romo's winky dinky pinky.
He should learn how to email, or text.

Favre just likes to talk a lot. I don't see why it matters anyways since they changed up the offense a bit for Rodgers.

I'm sick of so called "experts" saying dumb things like the Cincinnati Bengals have a "statistically" good pass defense. I don't get where they find these experts. How is allowing 10 pass TDs with only 4 interceptions good? How is being ranked 12th in allowing completed passes good? Mostly when the team is ranked 8th in how many passes are attempted on them per game. No one needs to pass when they can run all over you.

Maybe they're talking about their madden team?

Correction, ranked 8th in least passes attempted against them per game.

well, those numbers can also be misleading. If you get a defence that can't stop the run, then a team is most likely to pound them into oblivion. So a team can have less throws thrown at them than the average NFL team, but if you're Dallas, you give up huge chuncks on the ground as well.
