Nick Saban is a god.
Yea, Miami will be much better come next year.
Ricky Williams has got his touch back and Ferrotte is impressive for a bench warmer.
KC is a great team.
We've already known that for a while there.
I was sad this weekend when Dick said hes retiring.
And no, SD has played way too weak. I think they're overrated a bit considering they can't put away teams in their own stadium. But the salary cap will have its advantages. Question: What do they do with Rivers now that Bree's could have a "career ending" injury if the dislocated shoulder was more than dislocated..
Tice is out, Sherman is out, Capers is out, Martz is out, Haslett is out, who else? Green should have stayed in MN. The Cards are going nowhere even with the hype they had in the preseason. I don't like any of the fired head coaches out there atm. Even Sherman. His Packers went nowhere this year or the last or the previous. They say the Tuna hasn't signed his contract extension in Dallas yet for a while.. he might retire too.....
I don't know about the Eggles. Maybe. Just maybe. But you know Westbrook is going to hold out again and Pinkston is going to keep dropping balls.
Teams to watch for next year: the Fins (of course we all know that guys), the Cards, the Redskins, the Bears, the Saints, and Chargers.
Ricky is back and ready to start. If McCown is starting qb for the whole season, the Cards will definitely finish better than they did this year. Redskin's defensive coordinator will most likely become a head coach -- that means the Defense and the team has nowhere to go but south. With Grossman healthy, I'm sure they'll improve alot.. even though they'd still lose to the Steelers, which is sad. Saints are back in LA, they'll improve. So who do the Chargers keep? Brees or Rivers?
Btw, I checked some end of the year stats for a few qbs people always think as bad.. David Carr's stats aren't that bad if you remember how bad his line is. Bree's wasn't that bad in his first years of playing. Vick's stats aren't really that bad either.

Does anyone else think Brett Favre played his last game yesterday? All i can say is whether he retires or not, Packers fans(especially from Wisconsin) are so lucky to have had a guy like Brett Favre play for that franchise. I don't see the Packers having any form of a superstar like Brett Favre after he retires. Everyone always said Brett cant go out on a bad note, to which Brett answered that when he retires, he really was on top. There's nothing left for him to prove. Farewell Favre, I am one person who doesn't think he is going to return. At least we had a great time during the short lived "dynasty" Packers of 1996-1998. One Super Bowl win and another appearance. I can still remember when they won in 1997, it was such a great time to live in Wisconsin. Too bad Packers won't be good next year even with Ahman Green and Javon Walker returning.
i have a feeling he might be gone since Mike Sherman got fired

Unless they consider hiring Steve Mariucci. He was once Favre's QB coach and maybe Brett might think about staying if he were to come in and coach

"Green Bay Packers: Just one day after completing the franchise's worst season since 1991, the Green Bay Packers on Monday dismissed head coach Mike Sherman.
The move, which was announced at a morning news conference, came despite the fact the Packers awarded Sherman a two-year contract extension worth about $6.4 million last summer. It also fuels speculation about the future of quarterback Brett Favre, who said several times during the season that he would not return in 2006 if Sherman was not retained by Packers officials. Story
New Orleans Saints: The Saints fired coach Jim Haslett on Monday, the day after ending a 3-13 season overshadowed by the hurricane that devastated New Orleans and forced the team to abandon the city.
General manager Mickey Loomis said he took into consideration all the problems the team faced after Hurricane Katrina blasted New Orleans on Aug. 29. Story
Houston Texans: Dom Capers was fired as coach of the Houston Texans on Monday, one day after the team finished with the league's worst record.
Owner Bob McNair made the announcement several hours after Capers told the players at a morning meeting that he had been let go. Story
St. Louis Rams: Mike Martz was fired as coach of the St. Louis Rams on Monday after a 6-10 season in which he missed the final 11 games because of a heart ailment.
The Rams started the season 2-3 before Martz was sidelined with an infection of the heart lining. Assistant Joe Vitt replaced him for the rest of the season, which ended Sunday with a 20-10 win over Dallas that left the team at 6-10. Story
Minnesota Vikings: Owner Zygi Wilf fired Tice after Sunday's victory over Chicago capped a disappointing 9-7 season in which the Vikings, a trendy preseason pick to go to the Super Bowl, missed the playoffs.
The news wasn't a surprise, but the timing and manner in which it was delivered stunned the few players remaining in the stadium Sunday. Story"

LOL @ Maurice Clarett
Btw,
Skins over Bucs - Skins are on a roll
Steelers over Tigers - Bengals head into playoffs with losing streak
Pats over Jags - Patriots are healthier, Jags qb controversy
Giants over Panthers - Giants are 7-1 at home but have injuries on D
This year, the playoffs look so unpredictable. Even the Colts don't have that automatic nod for SB.

Playoffs:
Bucs over skins - washington is hurting
bengals over men of steel - Can't go against my team and this is the year the tigers beat the steelers.
Pats over Jags - though I don't like pats, they are good with much exp.
panthers over giants - Eli isn't impressing me and panther defense will limit barber.

Jacksonville over New England 16-13: Brady's offensive line and secondary are hurting. Leftwich or Garrad will pound the ball down the field.
Carolina over New York 28-14: Manning will struggle in his first big game. Carolina's D will hold Barber to only 2 TD's and 100 yards.
Pittsburgh over Cinncinatti 28-17: The Bus and Parker will run the ball down the Cincy's throat. The Bengals will struggle in their first playoff game in 15 years.
Next January, my Cards will be playing in the wild card game.
