I need help deciding on what phone to get @_@;. i wanted the nokia 7370, but the place i am ordering from couldn't find it (it's a fido retailer that sells world phones.. they have a lot of new ones)... i would get it online, but the problem is they make you put a non-refundable $100 deposit on it (when i put a deposit on it, they thought they had it in stock, but apparently not anymore). so since they don't have the phone i want, and i don't want to lose 100 dollars for nothing.. i must pick a new phone @_@. the thing is, i want a nice phone that's pretty.. and doesn't look the same as everyone else's... the only one i've found that i like so far is the nokia 7370, so... does anyone have any recommendations for phones?

Lol it always seems that near half of the topics in the tech section are people asking to help decide on a phone....but anyways..

I would suggest the Nokia N90 or N93...I really want the N90. But they will run you a pretty penny...

Any specifics on the type of phone you are looking for? Bar? Clamshell? Slider?

^ooo thanks for the suggetions @_@ i like the n93.. but it might be a bit too expensive for me. haha.. @_@;;. (although it's not too bad... ive' seen it a couple weeks ago at that place i go to - they have it for around 500-600$ cnd).
hm.. i'd prefer a slider phone, but as long as it looks pretty and not that much people have it, it doesn't really matter much to me. o_o. (although i don't want the chocolate phone.. because everyone has it these days)

the 7373 and 7390 are coming out soon. What are you into? Taking pictures, listening to music, surfing on net, txt messagnig, or emailing? Which provider are you with? Are you going to be needing 850mhz band? How much are you willing to pay?

Sony Ericsson w850i. If you want a good camera with the phone then forget about this one, but it has an excellent mp3 player. Not very popular in the states and should be the same in Canada right now.

I agree with kcinimod. Doesn't cost too much, very slim, 3.0mp auto focus and macro build in, slim key pad, expandable memory, mp3 player, video player, new themes, and quad band.

I like the D900 too but it feels like Samsung's slim slider design is not getting any better... What about the E900? How's that one? If you want something that will really stick out of the crowd, you could wait for the X830 ><

The E900 and D900 are the exact same thing. It's just that D900 is quad band while E900 is tri band.

oh really? i think there's also a difference in the camera though- D900 is 3.0mp (or 3.2mp) and E900 is 2.0mp without autofocus :I
