it's all a thought right now...it's all a maybe...the thing is...cuz it's too expensive...i feel i shouldnt make them buy me a car that expensive as a gift...i'd be MORE than happy with a solara...my mother has it in her mind that a solara is a sports car and since i have somewhat of a "lead foot" she doesnt want me driving it
lol u should tell your mom that a solara is by no means a sports car. As for the X3, if u don't want it tell your parents it's too big (the solara isn't small by any means as well) and with gas prices these days, an suv wouldn't be a good choice (the X3 gets like 16 mpg). You might as well get a bmw 335i (twin turbo 300 hp) for $4k more than the X3

cuz before the solara they made the camry coupe
also if u lookat the specs the new camrys run almost 270hp
while the v6 solara only has like 220? plus its heavy
ud definately not be gooing so fast with a solara

the best feeling in the world is when the parents offer you more than you want. it just shows that you truly deserve it in their perspective.
drive safe and happy motoring!
