I am a sophmore and panicking because my cumulative GPA is 3.35 because freshman year I was really lazy. I didnt take any honors or AP classes but didn't do well in my regular classes. Now I am a sophmore and taking English Honors and World History AP and I am doing pretty good.
How many AP or Honors classes can I take to boost my GPA? I want to shoot for 3.8-4.0.

gees...i didn't know that sophomore were allow to take AP's classes beside biology. Hmm...well, i suggest you study more or take chem. AP but the material is pretty hard. If you finish taking bio already, ask your consular if you can take AP Chem...trust me, you don't want to take any more than 3 ap classes. I had to stay home to avoid a chem. test because i didn't get everything that i needed to turn in. lol =) good luck, kiddo

Earn high grades in Honors and AP classes. If you get a B or an A in Honors, it might go up. You can even get a C in AP because it adds so much to your GPA. But remember, everything goes up by only around .04 or .08 of a point when you're in Honors and AP, respectively.

well if you think you can do fairly well in AP classes, then take 2-3 because they should be weighted.

take your required classes online (if your school provides it) or during the summer - like comm apps or pe. then they arent factored into your gpa =)
