Ever heard of Lily Allen?

I really love her songs, her WHOLE album "Alright, Still" is awesome. She's something definitely new, I've never heard something like this and I'm not disappointed at all. She's been known through myspace and she's the daughter of a famous person but I cannot remember who.

She's a 21 year-old girl from the UK so she's probably not that well known in the US, here in France she's the next bomb. Or so I think She's cute and she's not trying to act "sexy and hot" like R'n'B singers (I like r'n'b but yeahh.. you get my point). Her music is extremly refreshing and it makes me happy and cheerful. The kind of songs you'd listen to wake you up joyfully n_n

Her style is a mix of different styles : ska, reggae, trip-hop, zouk, pop. And the lyrics are quite funny. But they all talk about something we've lived at least once in our life. Listen to "Knock 'em out" and you'll get what I mean

yeah 'smile' was probably the most played song on radio in australia...especially triple j (damn i love that station). yeah, she's awesome.....her songs are great and fun to listen to...
she's been compared to mike skinner from the streets a lot...

i loved the first, but i got sick of it after a while..
then she came out with her 2nd single, forgot the title.. and loved it as well!!! she's great..

it's good to have an ecclectic music like hers..like every song she releases is something different..

hey dad is famous-ish. hes keith allen i mean ur only gonna know him if ur behind the scenes in media or if you are a brit. hes not known outside of the U.K. i liked Lilly when she first debuted-you should hear her parody of 'window shopper' its called 'nan your a window shopper'. its funny and shows how good she is with lyrics.

the thing i dont like about Lilly is that shes too outspoken and says things to be relavent, like saying bad things about kylie and madonna, theres no need for that. also her style is oooh so chavvy she wears big chavvy gold hoop earrings and vintage dresses with nike trainers/sneakers.
im sorry but ewww, trainers will never work with dresses. skirts yes but not vintage summer dresses. this irks me. but her album is good and her live performances are getting better and better. lets see how long she lasts.

I had the song 'Smile' in my iPod for a while. It was alright, and her accent is awesome, like someone mentioned. But her voice made me sleepy after a while.

I saw her on SNL and loved her performances. Got her cd right when it came out (7 bucks at Target!! ). She's like the Corinne Bailey Rae opposite (I love Corinne more though).
