Would this be correct -->

I watched movies, japanese drama and internet clips at my friends house. Comparing movies, japanese drama and internet clips I like Japanese drama the best.

ー> 私はとまだちの家へえごや日本のドラマやイントネトクリプを見ました。
ー>えいごや日本のドラマやイントネトクリプを比べます。
ー>私は一番好きな日本のドラマです。

私はともだちの家でえいがと日本のドラマとビデオクリップを見ました。えいがと日本のドラマとビデオクリップの中で、私はドラマが一番好きです。

What are some popular Japanese search engines? Or Japanese video streaming sites?
Similar to naver, daum, etc..?

Thanks in advanced!

What does 'sugoi' (sorry, for wrong spelling) actually means?
How to write it?

Tell me if I'm translating these correctly.

1.きょ年見たえいがのなかで、なにが一番おもしろかったですか? --> "Watching movies this year, among which one was the best?"
――>享年見たえいがで、”Spiderman 3” が一番おもしおろかったです。--> "Watching movies this year, Spiderman was the best."
2.せかいでどこへ一番行ったみたいですか?--> "Where in the world do you want to go?"
3.この教室のなかで、一番せいがたかい人はだれですか?-->"In this class room, who is the tallest person?"
4.イギリスとドイツでは、どっちがひろいですか。 --> "Between English and French, which is more wide spread?"
5.スポーツのなかで、なにが好きですか?"In sports, which one do you like?"
6.あなたが今一番ほしい物はなんですか?-->"Right now, which thing do you want?"
7.花のなかで、なにが一番いいですか?--> "Among flowers, which one is the good/the best?"
8.ひらがなとかtかなでは、どっちがやさしですか?--> "Between Hiragana and Katakana, which is the easiest?"

@flake: Sugoi means "wow" or "amazing". It could also be used as an adverb to mean "very" or "terribly". As an adverb, it will become sugoku.
They are written as follows: sugoi すごい and sugoku すごく

@AngeloDS:
1. 去年見た映画の中で、何一番おもしろかったですか? Among the movies you watched last year, which was the most interesting?
---> 去年見た映画で、「Spiderman3」が一番おもしろかったです。 Of the movies I watched last year, Spiderman 3 was the most interesting.
2. 世界でどこへ一番行ってみたいですか? Where in the world do you want to go the most?
3. Correct
4. Correct
5. What sports do you like?
6. Right now, what do you want the most?
7. Correct
8. Correct

With the last one, am I answering them correctly? The --> is my response.

1.きょ年見たえいがのなかで、なにが一番おもしろかったですか?
――>享年見た映画の中で、”Spiderman 3” が一番おもしおろかったです。
2.せかいでどこへ一番行ったみたいですか?
――>せかいでタヒティ島へ一番行ったみたいです。 --> In the world, I want to go to Tahiti Islands.
3.この教室のなかで、一番せいがたかい人はだれですか?
――>この教室の中で、マチュさんが一番ずっとたかいです。 --> In this room, Matt is by far the tallest.
4.イギリスとドイツでは、どっちがひろいですか。
――>イギリスのほうがひろいです。 --> English is more widespread. (I feel I should expand on this and compare it?)
5.スポーツのなかで、なにが好きですか?
――>スポーツのなかで、ダブルハイがすきです。--> Among sports, I like World Cup.
6.あなたが今一番ほしい物はなんですか?
――> Not sure how to do this one. I want to say, "I want books the most." --> watashi ga ichiban hon wo hoshii desu.
7.花のなかで、なにが一番いいですか?
――>花の中で、薔薇が一番いいです。--> Among flowers, roses are the best.
8.ひらがなとかたかなでは、どっちがやさしですか?
――>ひらがなはかたかなよりやさしです。--> Out of Hiragana and Katakana, Hiragana is easier.

We're doing a skit. I was curious how you would say this (I know the words, just not how to connect it):

L: Well (saa) … it can’t be helped (?). You are not rich (anata wa yutakanai). Contestant one, what do you think is the best part of a woman (onna no hito)?

C1: Among personality, looks and brains, looks is by far the best. She has to have a perfect butt and a big chest! Perfect!
--> kosei to mikake to zunou no naka de, mikake ga ichiban ii desu. onna no hito wa pafecto oshiri soshite okii no chichi desu. pafecto.

享年 → 去年
享年だと違う意味になるよ。 tears.gif

日本では、タヒティじゃなくて、タヒチと書きます。

一番ずっとたかいです。 → 飛びぬけて一番たかいです。

ダブルハイ → W杯 と書いて、日本ではワールドカップと読みます。

わたしは、本が一番ほしいです。
わたしが一番ほしいのは、本です。

どっちがやさしですか? → どっちがやさしいですか?

What does it mean when you say "-te wa", like in verbs? Because since it doesn't come after a noun or "ni", it doesn't really make sense to me.....although it would literally make sense in Korean....I don't think it's the same meaning....is it...?

I'm having a bit of trouble translating these two sentences:

一方、妹も、運動も勉強も抜群で素敵だったはずの兄の変貌ぶりにショックを受けます。女にだらしなく、行き当たりばったりの生活を続けているだけでなく、借金まであるのですから…。

Could someone help me out? I'd really appreciate it. :)

Hello everyone... ^^

I was thinking about asking my family to buy the Rosetta Stone for me, level 1 in Japanese. Does anyone here have experience with it? Is it any good? Is it hard to complete? Did you never use it? Is it easy to understand? Do you have to repeat a lesson like 5 times or more to remember it? Did it help you with your kanji? Did you use another program or book or something else together with the Rosetta Stone to learn more?

Thanks!!!

On the other hand, the little sister was also shocked at the transformation of her older brother who used to be unrivaled in exercise and study. He was not only fast with women and led a haphazard lifestyle, but also racked up debt.

Is it like that? I think so....if that's the only way you can put "wa" next to the verb like that...yeah, I think it's like that.
