May someone give me an informal translation of the following?

"I'm so glad that you're here to listen to me"

anata no koto daisuki basically means " I like you ". I dont know what "shitiru" means, but it's probably a typo, so I'm guessing, you're saying "shiteru no ka", which means, don't/do you know ?

anata no koto daisauki, shiteru no ka? = Don't/Do you know that I like you?

Ore ja nai , means " [It's] Not me"(said by a guy, as some guys say "Ore", instead of the more polite "Boku").

Thanks so much ^^

ah, a quote from hana kimi.

umm, if I'm not wrong - the MOST BASIC from of typing this would be 「おれは ほも じゃない」.
somebody can correct me by putting in the appropriate kanji. ^___^

about kanji, I have a few questions; -
when do you know EXACTLY when to convert the basic characters to kanji?
like,「せかい」 as compared to 「世界」?
do you have a way of learning kanji quickly?

rikuu: I think most of the time kanji is used for nearly everything, where as hiragana is only used when the kanji is being conjugated (yes, it can be) to past tense for ex., where there is the kanji with hiragana trailing after it, or as particles. If you look through mangas or read the paper, you'll be able to see what I'm talking about.

I have Tuttle's flashcards, which help somewhat. But reading manga and a kanji dictionary seems to be more helpful than that.

Also, how do you type in Japanese characters on this board???? I can see the characters, but don't know how to be able to type them.

anata ga koko ni kittekurete honto ni yokatta.

I guess that's less polite/informal. Usually I'd use the ndesu form for yokatta.

anata ga koko ni kittekurete honto ni yokkatta'n desu.

If I'm wrong, someone correct me :/

I think rikuu means memorizing them, or learning how to write them, though... , you really have the choice to pick and choose when to write kanji. If you know the kanji, use it. If you don't, it's safe to just spell it out in hiragana.

can anyone translate this for me?
is it something about diet?

Well i understand japanese so...

'I wrote a diary about a diet manual on july 25th.

After that, it seems many people took interest in it because there were a lot of comments and messages that asked questions.

After that, couple of people purchased the product and everyone is trying their best.

For me, I would like to give as much advices as possible if there were questions when using this manual.

I actually used this manual and I did my dieting and in a month, I lost about 5 kgs.

It's almost to my goal point, but I would like to continue doing this.

Let's work hard together lubby3!

atashi is a step down from watashi. less formal. like ore is less formal than boku.
