help me!- たすけて!-tasukete!

please help me!-助けてください!-tasukete kudasai!

kudasai is usually the formal tense for asking orders out of people, such as please do this for me, please wash my car...it goes on.

You're welcome^^

it means

isn't it really lonely being alone at night

真夜中 is mid night, late at night.

きり has many hard to explain ^^;;

thanks again hangbok!

@xquasarx : いつ日本語を勉強し始めましたか?

@debussy: i'll try to walk you through. If you're using Windows XP, you can do this.
Go to "Control panel" and then look for "Regional and Language Options" open it and you should be seeing "Regional options" and "languages" tab. Go to "Languages" tab and click on "Details" button. Once clicked, you'll see 2 tabs "Settings" and "Advanced" tabs. Go to "Settings" tab and under you'll see "Installed services" click on "Add" button just beside it and search for "Japanese" in the dropdown list under "Input language" click Ok then Apply then OK to exit. I am not sure if you need to restart, i forgot but you can restart to make sure. After you restart, you'll see a small language icon at the right side of the taskbar. click on it and choose Japanese. I'm sure you can work your way around it now. just try to explore the language bar. you're all set! Let me know how it goes wink.gif

Guys, need your help again... can you please translate? キミは知ってるかい. I'm confused by the かい. what's the use of this?

so i guess there's no direct word for "miss" in "i miss you"?

Isn't that just a region thing?? the かい = か . I've only heard older women (grandmother), and a few men use this.

I noticed that too. Guess there really isn't. I've only used "aitai" or " aitakatta", but what Tamago86 said: あなたがいなくて寂しい , is good too.

どういたしまして, debussy smile.gif yay! it worked ne?

そうか? might be just a region thing, そそそ. i was trying to translate that song from Kisarazu Cat's Eye and I think there's a place as Kisarazu in Japan so yeah maybe its a region thing.

i searched an online dictionary and found 慕う"したう" that means "to yearn for; to miss; to adore; to love dearly"

pardon me if i am not doing this properly. i suck at conjugating. anyway, i came up with "あなたを慕って" please please do correct me laugh.gif

Iie ( ;__; ) atashi wa mada DL o dekimasen. Shigotoba dakara ne. Saki no wa tada "copy and paste" desu. Gomen nasai.

Romaji de wakarimasu ka?

and yay!!! I loved Kisarazu Cat's Eye. I like Ani and Bambi the most. Which song are trying to translate?

misao, not sure if this is 100% correct, and not totally able to translate everything you said word by word, but in romaji/not very formal:

QUOTE
"because we live far away, we don't see each other very often. although, we talk in the phone every night for around 1 or 2 hours."

Tooi kara hanaretakara watashitachi wa yoku aimasen kedo mai yoru denwa de ichi ni jikan hanashita.

QUOTE
"a week later, i gradually know that i like him"
^i remember gradually is dan dan.. o.o

ishuu kan ato, watashi wa dan dan kare no koto suki ni natta no kizuiteta.

QUOTE
"i'll think about it."

motto kangaeru.

" I'll think about it more."

if somebody can say it more accurately, please do so. I suck at it :/

そうだね~。
「会いたい」が、一番しっくりくるかも。

あとね、「恋しい」っていうのもあるよ。
でももちろん、これは使う状況が限られる cool.gif cool.gif cool.gif
