Iced Tea:
Cheeseburger:
Asparagus:
Hitchhiking:
Disco:

I have a riddle! For those of you who know the Japanese prefectures and know the pronounciation of Kanji, this is great for you. Here it goes.

The answer is here.. highlight when you want to know the answer:
<--- highlight here for an explanation

Haha, pretty silly, I got it out of a 脳内エステIQサプリ book. These are great if you wanna stretch your mind - hehe. They're easily purchasable internationally at Kinokuniyas (domestically also..). I'll post more when I feel like I wanna.. see if you got it right!! Let me know!

(edit): ughh. some stupid coding problems. check back for the answers..

huh.gif Tamago is not well versed in his Japanese prefectures, haha...

Hitchhiking would probably be ヒッチハイクする (hicchihaiku suru). And meeting can also be 会議 (kaigi).

Actually I knew that prefecture but was just too stupid to guess it from that riddle tongue.gif

Wow, some of you guys seriously know your stuff. If only I was seriously dedicated into learning Japanese back in high school, I would have probably been as good as you guys. No...I take it back. 1 hour a day for 8 months is only really....a week's worth of learning japanese XD and times that by 4 years (years in Japanese class) =...a month...damn...after figuring that out...I haven't really learned Japanese for that long if it were a 24 hour straight course XD.

Good thing though, this semester, I'm getting back into Japanese after a semester of not learning (I'm 1st year college btw). But seriously though, some of you guys are impressing me with what you know.

"There is nothing that doesn't change, but I won't forget you/that/it"

It might make more sense if you provided the context, but I'm guessing it's the lyrics to a song

High school Japanese isn't really that great anyways, but Japanese taught in colleges is usually quite good and classes usually meet at least 2-3 times a week, so you should quickly pass what you learned before : P If you need help you know where to come though, haha

To learn 習う narau
Learned (past tense) 習った naratta

Examples:

I'll learn Japanese next year
rainen nihongo o narau

I learned English in high school
koukou de eigo o naratta

It's the short form of iyarashii which means like dirty or perverted

which begs the question, what you been up to Range? wink.gif

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

sweatingbullets.gif sweatingbullets.gif sweatingbullets.gif Josh、大学で聞いてみて!)。

smile.gif
