just a random question...
does stroke order really matter?
not like the little details like the little things at the end of the stroke
but the order of them like for example, "口" you dont write the left side but the top +right side first
cause i have this habit of thinking that it only matters when you are writing in front of someone who knows the stroke order.

k.. yeah. I'll be gone lol

In case, my explanation was not good enough, I just write in better English again.

well stroke order may not important in western countries but important in Japan. If you learn something wrong way first, it stays in your brain forever as a trauma. It's not easy to change later in your life. For example, if you engrave one wrong idea into your head, it is hard to change the wrong idea/what you learn from your bad experience later (esp the first experience stays there forever). Also it (how you write, how you do things) represents yourself that you have not a good quality or good quality. You can distinguish decent people and not decent people in what way? not the face, but how they behave and how they speak, the whole intelligence, and atmospher they have. Adult people can penetrate it immediately that you are well disciplined person or not. So pls work good way if you are trying to practice kanji. ^^
I talk like a grandma. ^^;

創造的な物語を書くなければならないです(?does that make sense?)。
私の考えは“A young diseased man tries to steal best friend's first kiss before dying”です。

Can someone help me correct these?
(<.< i'm trying to say "I must do all the things I want to do before I die")

I probably made a lot of mistakes.. but I tried my best (><;) Please correct me whenever I'm wrong!

Today is Jan 15th. The day to celebrate the people who turned age 20.

今日は成人の日。でもカレンダーの都合上、昨日が成人の日の祝日でした。成人の日は20歳になった人のお祝いの日。英語では;

Coming -of-Age Day; Day for congratulating those who have reached their majority and are now ready to make their own way in the world. Each city, town and village holds a congratulatory ceremony for those who come of age in that particular year.

Hi ~jayjay! Yeah, in Japan, after age 20, they are legally allowed to 飲酒、喫煙、投票。But also if the one commit a crime, he or she is to put in the jail formally. hehe I saw a lot of girls wearing Furisode (kimono with long sleeves) yesterday. biggrin.gif

OK, it means; How many people are there in this photo?

Hello. I'm not sure this belong here. But can anyone translate this to Japanese? Thanks so much! It's so urgent ><"

"Autum in Canada is usually from September to November. It is usually around 15-20 degrees, and often very windy on a normal day. Not much happen here during this season besides the transaction of green leaves to anything from orange, red, dark purple to yellow. The things we usually do for fun in Autum is raking leaves into a pile, and jumping into it. Also watch the colorful leaves and take alot of pictures. I really like Autum, because it is when I know my birthday is here and I am a year older, and the colors we see different from summer. But I don't like how it is always windy because I am tiny and always so scared i'd be blown away."
