anata wa kono taizai wo tanoshinde kudasai.
yoi ichinichi wo ne. doumo arigatou gozaimasu

because i'm not sure how polite it has to be i put in a pretty polite form...

@deziel
wa en ga's difference will become clearer. when you're in doubt it's safer to use "wa" in the beginning. wa indicates topic, like for instance "kono hana ha" ---> about this flower. ga indicates just the subject of a clause. when there's multiple clauses for instance the ga will only be the subject of the clause it's about while "wa" will indicate a topic for the WHOLE sentence.

I wonder if japanese is better..
or is english better, i wonder.
right now it's a little before 11 there?
here i'ts a little before 12 o' clock.

does this make sense?

Do you happen to get this from a dorama, song,...? I can't really figure it out either...

mmm it def makes more sense...
if it's :
atarashii koi wa
kisutsuita kokoro iyashite kureru

then translated it would be:
a new love, to heal a broken heart...
something like that...i'm not sure though since the romaji is still doubtful

Ah, thanks! I figured it'd be something pretty simple like that; I just wanted to make sure it was nothing weird. (:

NADESHIKO...It's a event that woman artists gather...

We know...it's going to be rough(?).

We know...theres so many things that you don't know.

And then, we know that there's a lot of charm in this.

I have few questions about the sentences below:

1) (Volitional form of verb)と思っています。and (Volitional from of verb)と思います。
What is the difference between the two?

2) What does the よう means in here? 林さんは今度の休みに日本へいこうと思っているようです。

3) そこはペンキ塗りたてと書いてあります。 How is it translated in English?

4) 夜空に星がキラキラ光って。。。
How is the と in this sentence used?

Thanks ALOT!

Kyou ha watashi ga utaimasu.
Mitekurete arigatou gozaimasu.
Kiitekurete arigatou gozaimasu. - would be thank you for listening, since your singing right?

1) "I think" vs. "I am thinking" It's like the difference between coming to a conclusion 「思います」, and still considering it 「思っています」.
2) "I hear that..." It's called hearsay usually in the text books.
3) "Over there it has been written, 'Fresh Paint.'"
4) That's how Japanese use words like to sparkle, be fluffy, be slippery, etc. The first word is the sound that it makes, followed with と and the verb it's associated with. I would just translate it as, "The stars sparkle in the night sky."

kyou wa watashi ga XX to iu uta wo utaimasu so i just say that and remove the x with the song i'm singing?kyou wa watashi ga utatte odorimasu. is that how you say "today i am singing and dancing" if it is do i just add in the song name after i say that or add it in after ga, japanese sentence structures really confuse me

^ Are you trying to say "Today I will sing and dance to xx"? Then it's "Kyou wa watashi ga xx to iu uta o utainagara odorimasu."
