Hey everyone.
I need this for a school project and I'd really appreciate it if any of you guys could help me with it as soon as possible. >.<;
In Japanese characters and romaji too, please.

Hey!
(Konnichiwa! こんいちは!)
How are you?
(O genki desu ka? お元気ですか?)
I'm good, what about you?
(Hai, genki desu. Anata wa? はい、 元気です。 あなたは?)
I'm okay, just going to talk a bit about Japan.
(???) I'm not sure how to rearrange the words here. >_>
Oh cool. Let me help you.
(Sugoi? すごい。。。?)

Forgive my errors and THANKS IN ADVANCE.

~

Hello there, everyone - first time posting in here, just wanted to get some help!

Basically, I want to say something in Japanese, to a big audience of people that I've never met before. Is there some general phrases that you use when dealing with large amounts of people that you don't know? I assume it would be polite/formal, yes?

Anyway! What I want to say is:

"Hey, everyone! Thankyou for your support, we really appreciate it. Please continue to support us, and we will make you proud! And thankyou Tohoshinki for inspiring us! We will see you all soon - lots of love!"

So is there anyone that would be able to help me out at all? I would kind of need to know how to pronounce it as well, seeing as though I'm such a Japanese n00b. happy.gif

Thankyou for anyone in advance!

Yeah, snowytearz! as saranghaese7en said, it means "dies" or OMG. Literally, it said "キュン死直前。"Kyun" is something like twinges at heart for love excitement, and "shi" is death. "chokuzen" is right before. Therefore, it is like "it is the moment of right before the heart twinge death". ^^

hi! im trying to learn japanese on my own and im trying to study reading the hiragana first. its quite hard/confusing though... sweatingbullets.gif
anyways, all i know is that the japanese language consists of hiragana, katakana and kanji?! so when do you use each? im really confused with this bec whenever i try to decipher (they're like top secret codes to me!!) each hiragana words its like there's always a symbol that i cant understand( like i cant find it in the chart) sad.gif ... anyway, how many hiragana symbols are there reallY?... and between the three writing systems, whats more widely used in japan? thanks! smile.gif

Hey, I've taught a little bit myself on how to learn Japanese (I'm a beginner), and I have a question refering to informal and formal stuff.

There's a line I was listening to, in Jyongri's - Lullaby For You, which goes:

"一人じゃない."
hitori janai.

Now, if I know right, this means, by context "[I'm] not lonely" (correct me if I'm wrong. I got very excited when I recognized phrases I heard).

I really hate using the words "desu", personally, but since I'm just beginning to learn, so I might as well get used to it.
So, if I were writing or speaking formally, is it redundant to say:

"Hitori janai desu."

Or, if I started to say:

Sore wa kumura desu.

Would the desu be redundant if I were speaking informally?
Please enlighten me!! Thank you!

一人じゃない can also mean "I'm not alone".
From my understanding "desu" isn't redundant.. it's more of a polite ending.

I myself am not excellent in Japanese but because I've been reading a lot of hiragana and practising for more than a year I'm beginning to understand what I read and hear a bit smile.gif. There are three Japanese Writing system which are: Hiragana, Kanji and Katakana.

私はエンジルです。

The text that I typed above has the three writing systems. The first character "私" is kanji which means "I", the second character "は is typed in hiragana and "エンジル" is in Katakana. If you're wondering what the sentence means, it means "I am angel". I suggest that you use a dictionary everyday and type words in English and see what they mean and how they're written. If you learnt Hiragana and Katakana things will be much easier for you. Even though I know lots of kanji words but I still need to learn more. Hint, romanizing lyrics helps you to learn lots of kanji words biggrin.gif. If you need help again with other things, don't hesitate to ask and if you want I can help you with what I know and can smile.gif. Good luck.
