Japanese isn't counted in syllables, it's counted in morae, but if you want syllables that will work fine.
Per syllable it's

Not everyone in Japan may use proper Japanese but everyone in Japan knows what proper Japanese is and how to use it, if you learn Japanese from anime you don't. The rule of thumb is you're only allowed to break the rules if you know the rules in the first place, and if you don't even know you're breaking rules, well...Besides those without good Japanese skills won't be able to pick up much from raw anime either, being able to pick out words here and there and being able to understand full sentences are two very different things. Best not to bite off more than you can chew in the beginning

飲ませる＝飲ませます...same thing
飲ます＝slang

yeah...as you pointed out...みis missing...but we normally say nomu, or nomimasu. and when we force someone, we say nomaseru, nomasemasu, nomasu...

「のみます」を「飲ます」と書いてあれば、それは単純な間違い。
こんな風に漢字の「おくりがな」を間違えることって、結構よくある。
「間違える（○）」「間違る（�）」とか「喜ぶ（○）」「喜こぶ（�）」とか。
でも「きこえる」の場合、「聞こえる」「聞える」のどっちでもOKだったりする。
これはもう、慣習的な使い方としか言いようがないのよ・・・。

私が飲ます。

と書かれてたら、誰が飲むのかによって、前後で使われている言葉によって、「のみます」「のます」の区別をするしかない。

「誰が最初にそのジュースを飲みますか？」「私が最初に飲ます（のみます）」
「誰があいつにそのジュースを飲ませるんだ？」「俺があいつに飲ます（のます）」

「親日家」はね～。
意味としては、オタク系の人たちも含まれると思うけど、言葉として日常的なものじゃないから、『日本政府の政策や日本人のことを支える外国人』に対して使われることが多いと思う。
その場合、別に「日本のことを支える」というまでの深い関わりじゃなくても、日本に好意的で積極的に関わろうとするだけで、「親日家」とくくられるよ。

例えば。
Lynは親日家といえると思うけど、友だちがLynのことを「あいつってさあ～親日家だよね～」とは言わないじゃない？
でも、Lynが社会人で、職場の同僚が取引先の日本企業の人にLynを紹介するとしたら、「彼は親日家なんですよ」という言い方をすると思う。
ただし、Lynが自分のことを「僕は親日家なんですよ」と言うと、相手によっては不快感を感じる場合もあるから、使わない方がいいな。
どちらかというと、日本人にとって「親日家」という形容詞は、相手のことを好意的に持ち上げる言葉だから、自称しちゃうと、ちょっと相手を見下した感じになる。というか、そんな風に受け取る人もいると思う。

みたい is the less formal equivalent of よう, you're more likely to see みたい in spoken and everyday speech, and よう in formal conversations and writing. They're the same meaning, they both mean 'like'. However with よう you have to add のよう after nouns but with みたい it can stand alone

赤ちゃんのよう He looks like a baby (formal)
akachan no you
赤ちゃんみたい he looks like a baby (informal)
akachan mitai
In something like this when you're just saying something looks like X you're much more likely to hear みたい

犬のように吠える He howls like a dog
inu no you ni hoeru
犬みたいに吠える He howls like a dog
inu mitai ni hoeru

And then they can also be adjectives
鳥のような顔 A face like a bird's
tori no you na kao
鳥みたいな顔 A face like a bird's
tori mitai na kao

The important thing to remember is that this みたい is completely different and not related at all to 見たい. Therefore if you wanted to say 'It doesn't look like a dog' you'd have to say 犬みたいじゃない or 犬じゃないみたい...Never ever write 犬みたくない

Therefore, the sentence that I used みたい in, "日本のアニメとかに夢中になってるオタクみたいな感じの人?", would mean
'Is it like an otaku type person who's obsessed with Japanese anime and stuff?'

アルバイトは好きだけど時々つまらないです。はたらきながら色々な人で会います。たとえば、かんこうきゃくとホテルのしよう人(hotel employee?)です。の本後の練習もできます。
始めに日本語で話したくなかったからまｃｘひがたくなかった。しだい(eventually?)もっとかんたんいなりました。今、ずいぶんかんたんです。時々わたしはまちがった。たとえば、まちがったねだんが言った。「これは二十ドル位」と言った。実は十二ドルです。おんあはねだんはおかしかったとおもうかもしれない。(the woman probably thought the price was weird..i didn't really know how to say that...by chance, did I happen to write the dialogue correctly? i doubt it lol)

その女性のお客さんは値段が高すぎると思っていたでしょう (sono josei no okyakusan wa nedan ga takasugiru to omotte ita deshou). That would probably be the most natural way to say it.

時々(can I use よくinstead of tokidoki?
You can say 時には、 which means 'once in a awhile', and more naturally you could say おかしい事を聞いたこともあります ( you could not use 時々 or よく here, but I'm not sure if you've covered that part of grammar yet.

店を通りかかりました (mise o toorikakarimasita)

I don't understand this..You're saying that you helped out your co-workers because your Japanese is bad? I'm guessing you want to say that your co-workers helped you out because your Japanese is bad, which would be 私は日本語が下手だから同僚が手伝ってくれました watashi wa nihongo ga heta da kara douryou ga tetsudatte kuremasita.

Your speech sometimes switches from formal to informal, when you write an essay it should generally stay the same throughout the speech. Good luck memorizing it, I hate giving speeches much less memorized ones, haha

I just noticed how bad my kanji reading skill is. I know what it means, but I never know the Japanese pronounciations. It always messes me up cuz I want to say it in Chinese. Haha
