ehh.. i got a 12.
but i was always good with writing. it's math i have trouble with. boo. =____=

you should practice writing essays if that's your weak spot. just like...go on xanga and submit entries every other day or so. lol. it actually helps!

and even though there is no right or wrong answer, it's the way you deliver your answer that matters. hope you do better next time!

I got a 8 because they look for complete essays. I had 1 sentence for a conclusion due to time, so yeah. That "obviously" shows that I can't write and I'm in English Honor Society and is a writing center peer editor for no reason.

if this helps...
1. run on sentence
2. "obviously" would make more sense in italics rather than in quotation marks
3. "im is a writing center peer editor" crazy.gif.. "im in english honor society and is a writing center peer editor" --> im an english honor society member and a writing center peer editor

My essay was the one on 'deception', it's the 4th prompt on collegeboard. I got a 10 on my essay which is fine for my first time but the overall score was rubbish and my math was low. Seeing those who posted their scores in the 'October 14, 2006' section made me frown on my own for getting so low. Well, I'll retake it in January.

I got an 11 my first time, and I got a 10 for the last October exam. I don't blame them though, my last essay was mediocre. It just really depends on how well you support your argument. They're looking for specific analysis, instead of a generalized overview of the work. I'm not saying that you did that; I am simply providing some suggestions.

i hate the SAT. first i have to wake up at 6:30 in the morning so i can get to school at 7:45. then i have to sit in a room for nearly 5 hours and someone in the class cut one 2x!!! holy cow, it was so disgustingly smelly. they were one of those really silent, but stinky farts.

well after today, i am so done with SATs. i'm not even going to bother with the December one. i'll get into college without a 2400.

I got a 12. But the SATs are still crap. I hate them!!!! It's not even fair. What if you go to take it feeling sick one day? Sheesh.
Someday it'll stop hurting so much....

length doesn't mean anything if the goods aren't there
grammar needs to be correct, also the examples given need to be explained and supported clearly, good vocabulary usage, and strong openings and conclusions

I just took it yesterday too
but I'm sort of rifing on that single grade since I didn't take it October or in the Spring sweatingbullets.gif
critical reading and writing went pretty smoothly...math was a bit funky for me since I decided not to take a math course this year and I've never been good at it

I think some people do stress out a bit too much about it
lol this one girl at my school said "I THINK I FAILED THE SAT'S!!!"
and I'm just thinking...you technically can't fail them.............
maybe I'm not worrying enough or something lol
but it does feel better than getting my panties in a total knot over it

SAT's also gave me a reason to wake up early on a Saturday and eat toast and bacon
