I heard this like crazyyyyyyyyy when i said i was going to get my bangs.
seriously, i get pissed off when i hear it now. I get reallyyy fed up with hearing this.

for me. i started putting my bangs down in 8thgrade cause EVERYBODY said that to me.
I had them since 6th grade nd only pulled them down for pictures. nd afterall, i was alwaysss breaking out like a madwoman. nd no, i dont consider breaking out 2~3 tiny pimples like some people complain bout. i had sooo much pimple on my forehead. ONLY my forehead so everybody told me not to get it.

when i FIRST started to put my bangs down, for bout 2weeks(?) i was still breaking out. it was probably because i wasnt used to it so i kept on touching it nd that led to more nd more pimples.

now, i dont break out anymore. AT ALLL. i still have pimples at times, but what can I say, its in my genes. 2 at the max after i got my bangs (unless I eat like gogi for dinner ) ive heard stories like "its because you're done with your breaking out season" uhhh, NO.

when i put my bangs UP. then i start getting pimples like madddd. i have no idea why this happens to me. i thought or should i say think is because the sun gets in my forehead so i get more pimples. i dont know why, but i get more pimples when i put my bangs up.

reminder: i wash my face bout 3~4times a day. but i did that before i got my bangs too. same routine before nd after i got my bangs
nd dont mind my default picture. i reallyyy need to go cut my bangs. after i cut my own bangs last time, my mom said shell chop it off i do it again(:

I had bangs since last year, and I've gotten more pimples.
I played Volleyball and left them down, and yeah, when I started to sweat, I'd break out. Now I pull them back and the acne is going away.

well i changed to having bangs about half a year ago and there wasn't any difference really. i have acne prone skin btw

I had bangs since I was 11.. and I didnt get any pimples. But when I turned 16 and started growing my bangs.. pimples erupted.

I changed my hair and got bangs in 7th grade and I started breaking out more than usual. My mother always nags me and says ever since I changed my hairstyle I got more pimples or whatever.. it's really annoying.
My bangs are kind of growing out now, and I still have some acne but it's getting better.

The truth is, it depends what kind of skin you have. I have tons of friends with bangs but their skin is really clear. I have combination skin so I guess bangs don't suit me.

umm lets seee..i too have had bangs for a long time...like when i was little i had those straight bangs...eck..but of course no pimples..but i htink later i did have pimples from my bangs bbut those bangs back in the day were those ugly claw-like bangs...but now i have side bangs and for some reason i dont get pimpled on my forehead anymore..well..maybe because at home i pin my bangs back, so its not always on my face...so it depends i think..but u shouldnt let ur bangs just stay on ur face for a long time..cuz then yea..oil..

your bangs collect oil from your forehead, and if you don't wash your bangs it'll rub off to your forehead that you've cleansed and then the clogging begins!

..my bangs.. well, they always stand sort of horizontal-ishy so it doesn't really cover up my forehead, so that doesn't happen very often for me

if u naturally have acne prone skin its gonna happen no matter what
and you're not supposed to wash your face so often
only like 2-3 times a day because anymore strips your face of its natural oils causing your skin to over produce oil which makes it more likely for it to clog up your pores.
which would lead to pimples.

some ppl who are not acne prone, yet very oily skin may get pimples on their forehead.
it really depends on that person's skin type

I've had bangs for awhile now, but I've been breaking out longer. So...I personally wouldn't blame it on the bangs. I blame my stupid skin! RAWR~ hahaha.

yeah i heard bangs make you break out more like crazy as heck when i considered getting them but truthfully, if you take care of your skin it shouldnt break out. i didn't notice that i broke out more after i got my bangs... mm yeah (:
