How many speakers? 2, 2.1, or 5.1?
How much power do you want? Do you want to be able to rumble the whole house?
Whats your budget? $50 $100 $150+?

Can we narrow it down a little?
How many speakers? 2, 2.1, or 5.1?
How much power do you want? Do you want to be able to rumble the whole house?
Whats your budget? $50 $100 $150+?
2.1 would be enough, no need to be able to rumble the whole house since I'm only using this in my small room
My budget would be around $50 - $70 , don't want to waste too much on a little speaker.
I think i bought my old one, which was the Creative Inspire T3000 for $50
Thanks for you help.

The Z-2300 set
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-THX-Certifi...p;s=electronics
Is out of your price range but I have always wanted these. I like the bass from them but it is a tad large. The sub is approximate a one foot cube
But hang around to get the input of others since I haven't replaced my speakers for a long while. I have had my Cambridge Soundworks (creative owns that company now) set for about 8 years.

There are many who say woo why not go for more speakers... but I like the simplicity of 2.1

i'd say, take the zalman 5.1 headset (i dont know if zalman is an international product) but, like the name says, its a headset with 5.1 built in. ^^
