So my phone has been failing me a lot lately. I think the problem with my phone (SE v802) is the internal antenna. It's barely picking up any reception. I've googled around and it seems to be a regular problem. So I see this as a chance to get a new one.

I haven't been keeping up with all the new phones and whatnot. Can anyone recommend me any that's priced under or around 300ish? I don't really care about the cameras/mp3 players in the phone. I already have devices for those specific functions. I want a phone smaller than the v802. Preferably one that can fit in my pocket comfortably. It doesn't have to be super thin or anything.

I appreciate any information pertaining to the topic!

Haha, yeah D900 is a pretty sweet phone.
I still miss my D820 (T807 in America I think)... some bastard stole it.
Left me short $300.

What company do you have? Because if you have Cingular then I recommend getting a quad band phone or a phone with GSM 850 on it. If not, then how about some of the new versions of the RAZR or Samsung's newest slim phones. But don't be surprised if they don't work in the basement and other similar places.

I have T-Mobile so tri-band phones are fine with me. I don't really like Motorola because of its interface. Not sure if Samsung's interface is any better though. Not too keen on the sliders since I tend to stuff the phone into my pocket most of the time. I don't want to scratch its pretty screen or anything. x: I really like the E870. I see its price runs around 250. Does anyone know of a reliable site I can get it off of? Is thecamerabox.com/samstores.com/1shopmobile.com reliable? (I'm pulling sites from froogle xD) Thanks for all the recs and info. biggrin.gif

Plemix.com is a reliable site. People had it's pro's and con's with the store. I have never purchased anything from them but I do know they are reliable from reading howardsforum.com

Plemix is a good site to buy ones. Incredibly fast shipping (took 2 days to get from Hong Kong to California!!) and good prices (only $220 for an SE k750i!!).

what it do, what it do?!

Eh, are you talking about the Sharp 705sh (SX633 in chinese)? I reaaally want that phone but it's way too pricey for me. :[

I ended up ordering the E870 from wirelessimports.com. Plemix didn't have it in stock and I really need a phone soon. I keep missing important calls. sleep.gif Thanks for all of the recommendations and tips everyone! Really appreciate it. smile.gif
