right now i'm experiencing two problems and i can feel my hair turning white right at this moment. the first problem is, i took my october ACTs and my november SAT IIs but i didn't request the scores to be sent to any colleges and now i'm afraid that i won't get it in time to send it. and then my friend told me that the scores will be on my transcript but the thing is, i already purchased my transcripts so how can my scores be on my transcript when they're not even out yet? sad.gif

my second problem is about uc applications. i want to apply to ucsd and on the application, it tells me to rank their colleges (revelle, sixth, roosevelt, warren, marshall & muir) in order of preference but i don't know much about them. can somebody tell me the differences? i'm interested in a science major so which colleges should i rank first?

thanks a lot you guys. my heros! happy.gif

I'm only a junior, so I don't know about the first question (maybe I should...O___O), but as for the UCs, why don't you try going on their website and see which college suits you the best?

As for your first problem, your scores WILL come late...if the deadline is somewhere in early December. If the deadline is in early February, it won't be. But early December, yes.

Hmm, you didn't indicate any colleges? You should've because for ACTs, it's free for your four colleges to send in the official score. Now you'll have to pay about $8 for each college you're going to send it to. You can just go on the ACT site and send in the scores to the colleges although it'll be considered LATE if the deadline is December 1st, etc.

But don't go solely on my words because I'm not 100% sure.

xD And I have no clue on the SATs. =___=; Sohri.

Colleges only take SAT scores sent from collegeboard. so whatever score you have in your transcript doesn't really count. if you didn't send them to colleges yet, you can still send them through collegeboard, but it's like a $9.50 fee for each college. o.O

for ucsd, iono... a few of my friends are applying and they're just doing eeny, meeny, miny, moe for the moment.
