Can anyone give me a few recommendations of some nice MP3 phones? I'm looking to buy a new cellphone and something to replace my broken ipod I live in Canada so it'll be great if it's available at a Canada wireless service provider but doesn't have to be since I can buy off ebay, keke.

- preferred style: sliders (don't have to be)
- MP3 capabilities of at least 512 MB(a must)
- nice/attractive looking
- my price range is anywhere from $200-$400

it has expandable memory, i think it looks pretty good, and it's only $149.99 when you sign a contract with Rogers (http://www.shoprogers.com/store/wireless/p...R&summary=1). And now they have the white one in Canada too!

But the only thing is that it isn't a slider one.

^ actually, from the pictures i've seen (LOL), there is one of those hole things you can stick charms through, but it's at the bottom of the phone instead of the top.

i have the Motorola V3i and it has mp3/itunes and you can buy the cards for the amount of space you want on it but the largest amount you can have is 512 MB it will cost bout 240-250 with the card if you start a plan i think i dunno if it will cost more w/o a plan o yea it plays music vids too well i love my phone!

LG Chocolate is in Canada, it's from Telus since Telus carries a lot of LG phones. They have a bundle special right now...includes a lot of stuff I think cuz I see the ads like everywhere.

get the LG Chocolate, it has a place for charm, you can buy memories card to put in there, it has get sound and it's cheap...also a slider..very sleek too

I suggest the SE w850i. It's a slider, one of there newest phones released so far. Not many people have it. Great mp3 player and walkman software. It's A2DP so you can listen to it with a wireless headsets, but it'll cost to much. Has a 2 MP camera, no AF, just in case something surprising happens and you want to take a picture. Great battery life. Just make sure your phone company used GSM frequencies and SIM cards. Also, it's under $400.

I don't know what Canadian providers have. But like malevolent said, SE makes great mp3 phones, aka the Walk Man series. W800i, w810i, W850i, W950i (w0ot $700!) and the w710i. All of them are candy bars except for w710i.

The w800i, w810i, and w850i can expand up to 4 gigs with the pro duo.
W950i and w710i for the time being, can expand up to 1 gig with the M2 micro stick.

If you really love listening to music on your phone, get one with A2DP. I have a Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 with my D900. Great duo!
