Hi^^

I'm thinking of getting an international pocket translator. One that has more than one language. I am particularly interested in the asian language because that is what I speak. I have been browsing online but I'm really lost as to which ones are good or not. Some are quite pricey, so I am assuming those are the good ones? My budget is $150.

If any of you have any suggestions or tips, I'd be happy. smile.gif

Thanks

for electronic dictionaries, the "good" ones will only have 2 languages:
eng and [other lang]

the ones with a whole bunch of languages crammed into them usually aren't that good...they only have basic greetings and a small dictionary.

if you want japanese-english, then i recommend sharp dictionaries...but all the instructions would be in japanese.

the same for korean-english, everything would be in korean.

i know that the sharp korea electronic dictionary site sells electronic dictionaries with english-japanese-korean, but i dunno how good they are. and it would probably be japanese^korean or korean-english. no japanese-english...
i write an important thing, and do not let's finish. a way of writing for freedom.

I am planning on getting an English Korean dictionary called "dicple" which is really cool because it has color screen, mp3, note taking, and all this other stuff +_+ It also translates into Chinese and Japanese I think... But it's expensive T___T

Yup! They just released a new version called Dicple 25 but the keypad is not as good as the older one... The older one had a laptop kind of keyboard +_+ I'm waiting to see if they'll have the old keyboard back on a newer version of Dicple... Probably picking one up when I go to Korea next month.
