After a few weeks with lots of movements, this week�s chart is relatively quieter. Sung Shi Kyung remains No. 1 with 거리에서 (On The Street), and DBSG�s �오-정반합� (O-Union) held on to No. 2. Both songs have lower scores than last week but were able to maintain their positions.

Bi�s �I am Coming� is rising fast, jumping 5 spots to No. 3, and his score is very close to the No. 2 song. He is a serious challenger to the top spot next week.

There are only 2 new songs this week. Lee Jung Hyun�s �철수야 사랑해� (I Love You Chul Soo) is the highest debut at No. 16. This is Lee Jung Hyun�s first studio album in 2 years. She has been concentrating her career in Japan for the last 2 years. This song doesn�t have the hardcore techno beat that we are used to hearing from her, but has a funky sound like �Half� from her third album.

The other new song is Paran�s �내 가슴엔 네 심장이 뛰나봐�(Your Heart is Beating Inside Me). It is the follow up song from their 2nd album. The title song �다섯걸음� went as high as No. 8 a month ago. This song is going back to a mid-tempo ballad which is more similar to the songs from their first album.

ARTIST OF THE WEEK - ERU



Our featured artist this week is ERU. He is better known as the son of famous trot singer Tae Jin Ah, but recently we all know him better with the lovely ballad "Black Glasses", one of my favorite ballads of this year. Unlike his father's music style, ERU is good at R&B ballad songs. Let's find out more about him:

BIOGRAPHY

Eru, the son of Tae Jin-ah, one of Korea�s most renowned traditional pop singers, entered the K-pop scene himself, during a break from Berkley College of Music. He underwent 2 years of strict training before releasing his debut album in 2005. Eru�s debut album included the work of top musicians such as Joo Young-hoon, Lee Hyun-jeong, the composer of Big Mama�s �Break Away� and vocal trainer Noh Young-joo, who also trained BoA, Fly to the Sky and Lee Soo-young. Top session players in Korea also participated on the album along with a 100-member string orchestra.
In 2006, Eru released his 2nd album entitled �LEVEL II.� The realistic and emotional lyrics and beautiful melodies on Eru�s second album show a more mature side of the singer.

Junjin attempted a new change from a powerful dancing king and performer to changing his appearance to a smooth man. This will be the first time seeing Junjin sing a ballad song, which is definitely a new change we will be able to look forward to. This song is about a man who is having a hard time forgetting about his lover that he broke up with. It�s a sad ballad track filled with emotion. Besides his title song, there is an upbeat dance song titled �Come back to me� that will bring out an electronic synthesizer sound and strong beat. Always singing from the heart with a dreamy voice, As One has finally returned after two years. As One�s fifth album titled �Twelve different tears that a break-up leaves behind� compiled a variety of stories that revolve around pain, sadness, happiness and resentment that anybody can feel through the heart. Singing a common love story doesn�t necessarily feel appealing all the time. From all these years of practice, As One has put much effort to create their type of singing style. For these two years, they wanted to create a beautiful voice that brings out the wonderful vocal sound in their music. We will be able to see a new change in them through their fifth album. Especially their title song called �12 ya� is a song that only As One can successfully sing because it�s a genre that they are capable to sing.
