I'm really interested in this field. I just want to own my own business, maybe a hotel or a chain of restaurants...or just become a professional event planner like a wedding coordinator perhaps? Gah, there are endless possibilities, but is anyone else interested in this major and where are you going for college? I was thinking Michigan State or just take a business major and a minor at UW-Madison.

I'm also interested in hospitality/hotel management.

So far I heard the top schools for hotel are
-Cornell University
-University of Nevada, Las Vegas
-Johnson & Wales

Any more to add to my list..?

I live in California and I've considered going out of state, but I'm so undecisive and out of state tuition is really expensive;
So I might just attend a Cal State that offers the program.

Does anyone know if the Cal State programs are any good?
Or if there are any other good schools for this major in California?
Also, I'd like to hear from some people who actually work in this field.

^ i know someone that goes to cal poly pomona and she told me today that most cal states are pretty good schools for business such as cal poly pomona, cal state fullerton, cal state LA, & some other more.

im interested in this feild too~ thanks for the list of colleges~ i wish there were more. i was actually thinking of going over seas... maybe korea, because i dont speak japanese otherwise i would go there. lol.

but there is a college, well its a christian college and it has bases all over the world, so basically you will be a missionary and in college getting a degree. yeah sorry i cant really explain it.
