Ringtone Help!

i have this song (mp3 file) that i have downloaded from my comptuer to my cellphone. I tried to set it as my ringtone but it doesn't work.... there are default tones in my cell in mp3 form and they work! Help please! btw, my phone = nokia...hope that helps
