If you don't know what I mean then I'm talking about then watch an intro from an anime fansub.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

How To Do Karaoke With Subtitles?

Karaoke is really hard to achieve. You'd have to time individual syllables (which is done by sound only) Then you'd need to give it effects. Either you have to know how to write lua script and use aegisub or something to script the timed sub to give it effects when you encode. Fansubbers generally don't give out the "effects code", you'd have to make your own, which isn't easy. I've only made one Karaoke vid before so I don't have much experience in this region. There's this site that teaches you about effects and the like (very general though), hopefully it's helpful. CLICK

basic karaoke isn't hard, just long and tedious. If you're talking about just timing the syllables you gotta sit there and do it one by one (although I've heard of methods that make it faster and easier, but I never looked into that). For the effects, that's where it gets tricky. Very technical stuff, I have a hard time trying to figure it out, and since not to many people out there do karoke vs. say photoshopping there isn't that much info out there (although I really wish there was >_<) and if you want _really_ nice effects, that takes the addition of a video effects editor which most people probably can't afford. That I know of. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anywho, if you're still interested in this long and winding road, you can go to animesuki forums and go to the fansubbers thread. I think they have a pinned topic on subbing that you can browse through and see some discussions on doing karaoke effects. Also, the most awesome fansubbing group I've ever seen, Kuraki-fans (who also do a lot of work with Boajjang) has some resources at their site: http://www.kasshin.net/kuraki/
That's about all the resources I know of, and if you look into it you'll see it's very tricky and no one's really made an effort to provide extensive tutorials. You'll probably will have to find someone who knows and teach you.

I guess I looked in the wrong forum when I went to Animesuki earlier. I found a software that they say can do the basic karaoke stuff which I'm just looking for. For now anyways.
Thanks for the help.
