this is off topic somewhat, but do you really need a double major? i think they're stupid lol. ee/ce and fin/accy is ok but in general i think its a waste of time

I guess it varies depending on where you're from.
But I agree with what akira53 said. Wait a few years, finished all of your required classes then study abroad.
I plan on studying abroad my 4th year of college.

right now i'm just a freshman who's in a rut. i want to study abroad and at the same time do a double major. but i don't think that can happen because i still have to fulfill my school's required core classes.

why not do both? isnt it a matter of time/money than requirements? i regret not studying abroad...and once you start working, it's nearly impossible to consider spending more than 2 weeks anywhere. do it now while you have the opportunity.

sorry, I'm getting off topic here, but I didn't know where else to post this.
>>>To anyone in here...I'm just wondering how much money I should bring to Japan? I mean I've visited Japan a few times, but it is different from living there. Anyone have any idea?
I am still debating between Korea & Japan. I was thinking about studying in S. Korea at first...but I've heard Korean-Americans staying in korea are prejudice against non-Koreans...? is this true?
**friendly advices and tips will be greatly appreciated!

How much money you should bring depends on alot of factors...Where you're living, what's already being payed for you by your program (housing, meals?), where do you live in relation to your school, how much shopping / eating out you think you'll be doing..
Don't base your decision to not study abroad in S. Korea based on a few idiots studying there. Most likely your time won't be spent hanging out with those people anyways, stick to hanging out with the natives instead. Same for if you go and live in Japan, you can always hang out with your fellow countrymen back in your home country so why do it in a foreign country.
