I just checked my network connections today and was surprised to see 2 new local network connections:
1. shareddocs on mom's tablet computer (Kiran-tablet)
2. shareddocs on tablet (Tablet)
There is also a virtual printer set up (again, I did not) for these two "users".
I have no idea what these are and did not set these up.
The conspiracy theorist in me says...hack?!
Any ideas? I am the sole user of this tablet.
Thank you.

From the sounds of it, your File and Print sharing is enabled and your computer just did some searching on its own to see which other computers are connected on your network (I assume your mom's tablet)
Do you know if your mom's computer has a printer thats shared? Perhaps she shared her printer and your computer decided to find it.
Either way, go to your network connections, search for your network adapter (ill assume wifi or whatever you usually connect with) right click and uncheck file and print sharing if you want that stuff gone.

Thanks for replying. I went ahead and unchecked that option. I live in my apartment w/my sister and so there is no "mom's/Kiran's tablet" and/or "tablet" that I know of.
Funny thing is, my sister's tablet is just fine. I'm quite sure her wireless is configured just like mine. What seems strange to me is that my tablet has these TWO additional connections while hers has none (our aparment is fairly small).
