Well, the free one that windows computers come bundled with is Windows Movie maker.

That one is pretty easy to use and comes closes to that apple video editor.

After that, you can get really simple editing from VirtualDub but it kinda sucks for editing.

If you want something really advanced and featureful you might consider Adobe Premiere Elements.
