I'm looking for a batch ID3 tag editor that supports different languages and would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions. I've tried a program or two, but it's frustrating because it will not open files with names in chinese, korean, etc., nevermind rename them.
Also, are such programs available for video files or better yet, something that supports both audio and video tag editting? I'd appreciate the help (:

Why do I use Foobar?
-Full Unicode (UTF8/16) Support
-Mass Tagging+Mass renaming+Directory restructure
Watch and be amazed -> Switching codepages and then converting into unicode
Unconverted(garbage mess that you'd typicall see)->

Conversion Process:
Manage Scripts->

Swapping Codepages->

Converted(how its suppose to look)->

Awesome the tags are good! But I don't like how the names of the actual file looks... I'd rather have the name of the artist in it too.

Not a problem, mass renaming TADA~

-Highly customizable (ability to script your own layouts) How many players out there let you script your own layout from scratch? (while everyone is probably shaking their heads, once you get into it it'll be like crack. You'd feel much the same way as someone who skins Winamp skins or Windowsblinds etc. As you finally have something that FITS you)
My usual masstagging layout loaded with as much tag information as I want, though not in the screenshot, I can add directory structures, custom tags etc into it as well:

My normal layout (how it looks when I play songs):

-Supports variety of formats:
Audio formats supported: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA, WMA, and MA
ReplayGain support - both playback and calculation.
-Lightweight (compareable/less than Winamp 2.91)
What you would need:
Foobar, MassTagging Component, MassTagging Addon (Allows mass switching of Codepages etc. useful for CJK/unicode tags) <-- That is simply not in any ID3 tagger I've ever used, but if you insist on a tagger then use MP3Tag!, it has unicode support.

Oh, I will have to get that...
I have been using The Godfather id3 tag editor. Does okay to rename files and edit the ID3 tags. But its cumbersome to use at times.
