do any of you fear that you won't have a good prom date? its like...... later on but do you guys still wonder and get frustrated just by thinking about it? let alone even get one to go with?

i went to junior prom with my then-boyfriend. and i went to senior prom with this amazingly cute boy who also happened to be a friend of mine~ if i could, i`d do it all over again ;]

Eventhough my school has only one prom every year which is the senior prom, I don't really mind...
I'd rather go alone with my girl friends rather than going with someone I don't like...
Girls don't need guys for everything..lol

I asked someone to prom because I knew I probably wouldn't get asked...my date was cool...old friend so it was alright.

i admit...back when senior prom was approaching, i did have that fear because ALL of my friends were going and they all had dates except for me
. but in the end, this guy i met in my computer class during summer school asked me. but i had to decline because it just didn't feel right since he had a gf and i barely knew him.
but at least i can say i WAS asked. that's good enough for me.

I went to junior prom alone, but it was a lot of fun. You don't need a date to have fun at prom. You have to make the most of it otherwise it wouldn't be fun.
As for my senior prom my friend set me up with a guy. He was nice and all my friends liked him. a few even had a crush on him but he wasn't my type, but I did have a lot of fun at prom even though I didn't know my date that well. Both me and my date were very shy with each other.
BTW, I went to an all girls school, so basically girls have to do the asking. And since I didn't have any guy friends my friend got me a date. She also got a date for two other friends. And if the girls didn't have a date they just split the ticket with another girl from school since all tickets were sold as pairs.

I've been thinking about a lot in the last 2 months. My school was taking deposits.. near the end of October. I always felt that prom was about going with a date. If I don't have one, it's okay because I plan on going with my friends.

i didn't get asked in the prom..i didn't want to ask anybody since the guy i liked throughout my high school years went with his friend who went to a different high school (it was the only way she can go to hang out with her friends from my high school)...
but i thought my prom was pretty cool..i went with all my single friends..i thought ill be bummed out if they'll have slow dance music---but luckily someone asked me to dance with them..n i thought it was pretty romantic coz he was that cute guy that i would never ever think in my life would ever talk to me...

Nope, i was asked by a classmate but i decline. He asked another girl before, and i was the subtitute. Defenitely a big NO!, besides what's the fuss if you don't have date.
Everyone in class are panicked bcos they don't have date, wht's the point asking some random people to be ur date just bcos it's prom. I rather spend my time enjoying at the prom with my frens thn being akward with my date all night.
