does anyone know how to replace the broken LCD screen on my Canon Digital Elph PowerShot SD 550 and help me ? It's too costly for me to go and get it fix. please and thank you!!~

Ah, the SD550 great camera until you drop it.
O_oa I think this is what panda has...
Anyways I recall canon was rather expensive I think $250 to send it in to replace the LCD.
I have seen the LCD on ebay for about $80. How to get into it... well thats the difficult part. Most likely you will just have to slowly dismantle it to get into it and try your best to work backwards. Something to consider are those local TV/VCR repair shops if they still exist. A lot of times you can take something in and have them fix it for you for a small fee. Especially if you provide all the parts they need.
