I have the same views too. Japanese Rui acted much better than the Korean version "JiHoo". No offense to KHJ fans as I like him too, it's just that he needs to elevate his acting skills.

Okay let me give you some recommendations..

If you like to see the arrogant but reliable Genji Takiya, go watch him in Crows Zero. If you prefer to see his dorky role, you can see him in Binbo Danshi then.

Oh yeah there's another one, if you wanna see him played a little brother whose having hearing and speaking disability, then you can look for Summer Snow series.

I leave it to you now to decide...

Finally i watched CZ, wow! i must say the movie is great! i mean the over all..great adaptation of a manga..and of course Oguri! totally great performance! i remember i've read some good reviews of this movie back a year ago, but i just didn't find time to dig it..Now i can't wait for the II

I bought the DVDs right after I finished my final year. I just can't help it but to keep on searching for them week by week until I have nothing to buy now.

Anyway, Shun was totally adorable and funny in that tongue twister game. Can you imagine how can a tough guy like him turned cowardice in just a few minutes !!
