Shun Oguri Directs A Movie
Wed, June 3, 2009 (3.12am EDT)

Popular actor Shun Oguri (26) is taking on his first directing job. While actors becoming directors is nothing new, this is said to be the first case for a star still in his twenties. The movie's official title is still unknown, but those close to the project are apparently calling it "Surely Someday."

Oguri, who is currently overseas for work, plans to start shooting this summer. Details are sparse, but the film is said to be a story of adolescence that will feature a cast of handsome actors.

Oguri has wanted to try directing for a long time. He was able to get this project rolling with the help of producer Mataichiro Yamamoto, who heads Oguri's management agency Tristone, and his father, stage director Tetsuya Oguri. The actor has already done a little directing, working on the short "manner CM" that played in theaters for "Crows ZERO II."

"Surely Someday" is expected to open in theaters next year.

I have been wondering too who would be the "handsome actors". Anyway, there are too many kakkoi and kawai otoko celebrities right now. Hopefully Shun and the producer will make a right choice.

I know Shun has a talent of becoming a successful director someday. The first CM he had directed is the most hilarious CM I have ever seen. Do let me know if any of you here haven't see his work in this CM yet..

So, his movie will loaded with kakkoi and kawai actors plus the director is super kakkoi and kawai himself..hehehe..what more can you get from a movie?

i am ashamed to admit that i have just finished stalking on shun's girlfriend yamada yu (or yuko, her real name)...
i have to say i sorta like her.she's pretty and i think i could see why shun likes her.and oh, she got great legs. *jealous*
hope this one stays with him coz they look good together and oh yeah i checked their compatibility too.apparently cancer and capricorn are the most compatible lovers. *jealous again*
