Oh! An Oguri Shun thread! Yay! <3
Well, I have to admit, by now he's my favourite actor. I can say that after watching some of his works (GTO, Summer Snow, Gokusen, Stand Up!, Densha Otoko, Hana Yori Dango 1+2, Hanazakari no Kimitachi e, a little bit of Conan, Azumi 1 + 2, The Neighbour #13, Ghost Train, Yuuki) without any hesitation.
He's a really good, versitale actor with LOTS of charisma and he's plainly HOT! He can pull off the cute as well as the badass image VERY well, beside others.
Also his smile is very awesome...X3~
I'm so waiting to see "Crows Zero" since I saw the trailers as well as read a summary!
Somebody know where to watch it? (I hope so VERY much it's going to be released in my country, or at least somewhere with engl. subtitles...)
Also, I would like to see some of his stage plays some day, too. If not live then at least on DVD or internet.
---As for his works I saw----
Wasn't he damn cute in "GTO"? Watching it my friend and I were always like "awww" when he appeared. (though it wasn't often) I mean, just imagine you would have like a cute brother like that? XD
Summer Snow: I didn't really recognize him there...I didn't even know about him watching this dorama. It was my first one so...but realizing it was him at this dorama too, makes me worship his skills even more.
Stand Up!: XDDDD This one was like the 2nd dorama I ever saw, so I didn't notice that much of him either there. XD
As for Densha Otoko: Shun's part was good & even funny/hot but...it was like until the half of this dorama I liked it but step by step that Otaku(main actor) was getting so annoying since he like ALWAYS seemed to cry. I mean, I don't mind if he'd have cried like 3 times or so but THAT much? If I would have been that woman, I would have dumbed him...I mean, he whined so much. It was unbearable and unnerving. =___=
As for Hana Yori Dango: Haha, I fell for Rui right away and would have never taken Matsu Jun...he was such a troublesome baka there! XD But it was fun!
At Hana Kimi Ikuta almost gained more attention than Shun. XD He was so funny...
As for Azumi 1: I was like: NOOOOOOO! As Shun 'died' within the first 5 minutes (?) of the movie and didn't come back at all. XDDD
XDD The Neighbour #13! I was so surprised to see an ALL-NAKED Shun there! XDDD I like this movie...though it's not that much 'action' in there and I didn't really get the ending until someone enlightened me.
I have to admit, Ghost Train wasn't that outstanding...I didn't even felt one bit fear...something was missing. But at least Shun was there. ^^ Not one of his 'best movies'.
The movie Yuuki was MUCH TOO SHORT! One couldn't adjust to the characters that fast....it should have been a dorama!
awesome review ive watched a bit of his works too and love him in stand up,hyd and gokusen.
thanks for listing most of these cos i havent really kept up wit his new stuff or really know how they are..
