Anyways, during the interview with the Dancing with the Stars winner, Clay was having a hard time getting a word in with Kelly continuously talking... so he reached over and put his hand over her mouth. To which Kelly responded by saying "No.. no, no... that's a big no, no," and then "I don't know where those hands have been."
Yesterday morning on The View, Rosie O'Donnell commented on the Clay/Kelly thing and said that from her perspective (as a gay woman)... she took Kelly's response as a homophobic remark (considering that Clay's sexual orientation is not clear).
Kelly said it had more to do with germophobia, since she has kids.

What do you guys think about all of this?
Although, I can kind of see where Rosie O'Donnell is coming from -- I don't think Kelly Ripa was being homophobic.
But what really bothered me, was the fact that Rosie O'Donnell kind of took an innocuous action and labeled it as being a homphobic remark or gesture JUST because Clay Aiken's sexual orientation isn't clear and she, herself, is gay.
O'Donnell also exclaimed that Kelly Ripa would not have done that to a straight man, or a cute man...
I think she has no right to make that assertion because there's just NO WAY of knowing the validity of that statement. I mean, how does she know what Kelly Ripa would do?
Anyways, I'd like to hear your opinion.
